Sounds like you lifted that post from our last relegation season.
-
Sounds strangely familar

Am sure this is going to be pinned up in his office at Staplewood. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c5yrrrx5pr0o

Who is exactly having the fun? Opposition managers, players and fans he must mean.
-
Total agree. Even more than Branfoot.

I have understanding and knowledge of my club, and the club now is a pale reflection of the club I fell in love with. Just fuck off Martin, had enough of you spouting off your bullshit after every game. -

How did we get on when we played sides in similar abilities to use on paper? -

Can't wait for the after game presser. How many times will Martin say he's so proud of the players and how brave they have been. -

That's what Martin wants the most. A pat on the head and a hand shake, Martin can't wait for the final whistle. -

But you adjust to the league you are in. We haven't done that. -

I actually agree with this. The guy should be nowhere near a starting 11 in the PL. Its the actual sycophantic comments that RM makes about Stephens that I find irritating and pathetic. -

This should be his last game in charge, no matter what the score is. Of course it won't be, but the penny has to drop with SR sooner or later. -
Is courage knocking it back and forth two centre backs, then knocking it back and forth to two full backs? Honour? They are footballers not fuckin medieval knights jousting for a fair maiden. The only twats that have a belief in this system are Russell Martin and SR. I'm not sure who is pulling the strings behind the scenes anymore, or even if anybody is, but the quicker they realise that this shitshow is going to suck up any goodwill that SR garnered over the last year the better.

Honestly? How can you watch a football club you profess to love so much turn into a joke? I cannot get enthaustic for match days any longer. The enjoyment I have had over the past 40 odd years of watching my team is being slowly eroded away with each passing game that Martin presides over. He needs to go, not just to give us a tiny modicum of hope that we can at least try and stay up, but for the thousands of fans we are going to lose, be it fans now, or the next generation. Russell Martin is doing this forr one person, and one person only. Himself.
-
With Martin still in charge though?
-
If Martin is still in charge at the beginning of next season after a pathetic relegation, you can bet that St Mary's will be less than half empty.

Am nearly 51 years old. Old folks like me don't understand those things!
-
If all else fails go for personal digs.
-
Am just making the point that having a penalty isn't a guaranteed goal.
-
Pretty confident we would have scored the penalty then? Out of interest, who on the pitch would you have wanted to have taken it?
-
Cameron Archer?

Well yeah, but surely if you add the weight of the feelings of the fans and the manner of the relegation. then to my mind Martin's job would become untenable. He was lucky the ref was so shite on Saturday, as I think that deflected a whole lot of shite going his way.
