He is the Chairman of the football club!! If you don't think there is anything more that he could be doing - with regards to increasing turnover, and or bringing in investment - then you really need to brush up on the roles and responsibilities of company chairmen / women!!! I would go so far as to say that it is his absolute number 1 priority / duty to ensure that the club / company is fiscally viable. If he cannot do that then he should step down and let someone else take over the reigns. Oh, and where is he whilst the company crumbles under his feet?? That's right, hunting and fishing in Canada!!

With attendances falling by 20% by the fourth game last season, by the end of this month we can expect turnouts to be around 15,000 or less.....

Less than 17,000 Saints fans for the first home game, versus a crowd of 25,054 (last year). I fear the return of Lowe and the poor results last season may have a greater impact than people first imagined...

I think I would have to go with a 'why not manage the club more effectively in the first place and avoid this situation completely'. Obviously we can't change what we've got now, but that is why I for one don't want any of the people who have contributed to this position to still be running the club...
