Anyone got another stream, I cant find anything working - thanks in advance!
-
About -£80m in debt, having spunked the £150m received for Kane after 1 good season on a bunch of kids…

Not saying we will get to safety, but isnt your point valid of all the teams near the bottom, they have all been shit. Literally could go either way for many teams right now.
-
No worries either way 👍 Yeah, you are correct re the players you mention, they literally all need to go (with Salisu I think it is more contract related in his last 12 months of his contract). I think Selles will be very quick to change things up though, and realise he cant continue to do what Ralph and Jones did by keeping trying the same failed approach. If he does he wont last past the summer, and if his managerial intentions are to be met he really cant afford that. My concern is that SR could in theory think Ely, Diallo, Moussa etc will be useful in the Championship, whereas I think they are such a sucky part of our bad culture at the club they need shipping it and a reset button hit. Next season could be interesting for getting our Youth set up back on track with some making the first team if we go down.

Not that you will reply to my post (don’t think you ever have, not that it is a requirement, just odd), but didn’t we not have a fairly new core this season with: Bazunu ABK/DCC Lavia And more recently add Alcarez and Onuachu? Doesnt this then suggest it isn’t necessarily the players and something else?
-
Very interesting, thanks for posting that. Didnt Selles come in to mainly work on the defence initially - if so, then this would back up that by and large it has been effective, apart from some utter brain farts from some defenders, and a shockingly consistent poor performance in goal. I think AM will be in goal for Grimsby, and hopefully will stay in after that.

Yeah re JB, i couldnt understand that he was kind of standing sideways to it, I mean im no professional player or coach, but im sure that isnt how he should be standing. I wondered at the time if he deliberately got out the way as he didnt want to touch it and score another OG. Poor from the keeper for sure, and he should have saved it, but it should never have got past JB first, who blocked the keepers view also.
-
And this is the bit I just dont get - why is it that we need to keep such discipline when our situation demands we win matches? Losing or drawing simply isnt good enough (although y’day would have been a case of being happy had we drawn considering who it was against). Im not sure I can watch another match if when reviewing the line up it has JB and ME starting. Next game we simply have to have better player - DCC and Alcaraz for me. Id also be wondering with Sulemana is currently playing like a headless chicken, he doesnt seem to understand what to do just yet.
-
Great result, and woke up to understanding what it feels like the next day after a win. One thing for me, was a good as Tall Paul was, I noticed there were a few occasions had he knocked the ball round the corner when he was holding it up, Sulemana would be through. So positive in that we had willing runners, but needed a little quicker release - which I guess will come with time playing together. I thought Paul had a great game other than that. Think he may just get a brace next week.

See this whole thing of the players like him I find weird, considering I thought the players kept saying they like NJ too. It doesn’t make sense or any real difference really if they like the manager or not, and considering the players are a large part of the reason we are in the shit we are in make me wonder if they shouldn’t just STFU and get in with their job. I just wish they’d keep quiet on this, follow instruction and try their best, and put every ounce of effort into each game.

If we do go down, we may decide to loan out some players instead of cashing in, so if we go straight back up, they can still play for us.
-
So, if we appoint a caretaker manager, we have more chance of going down, at which point less desirable managers will want to come as we will be in the Championship - the logic doesnt work for me!
-
Yeah, i tried not to. Got to 20 mins and put it on. Wont be doing it again for a while. Decided will be getting a season ticket next season with the boys though. Pretty excited.

Could it be that we are going to change him for someone else, and they haven’t finalised that yet, so are keeping him until that point?
-
Possibly, who knows, I was more saying to write a different view on the Blog, as it s just a reflection of most things written here and Not606, without an output really, other than NJ should go. MY view is if we are going to write a Blog, what is the output, where is the angle. I mean - and Im not saying I know how, just where is Rasmus’s head right now - he needs to appear in control, just for a second think if some of the team where bad attitude wise under Ralph, and now under NJ, is this about making a stand about players? Or that he believes in thsi system, even if it takes 18 months, relegation to come out of it a better side in the long term? Like I said I dont know, and considering many will leave after relegation, it may be irrelevant, was just trying to think about a different angle for a blog.
-
I thought there was an opportunity in the Blog, to discuss a possible route out of this mess, but much the same as reading fans forums, like this one. Or to say if we are keeping Jones, what are the options, and routes NJ can take to turn this around.
-
He posts as Le Tissiers Laces on Not606.
-
Already ahead of you. Still, cant beat the film Anger Management - when he tells Jack Nicholson it isn’t the same without angry mastubation 😂
-
Jesus wept. This is just awful. Surely he needs putting out of his misery. If NJ was a horse, he’d have been taken out the back of the stables and shot. Dont think he will go after this, but lose next weekend and I think he will be gone.

Duje Caleta-Car - Official: Loan to Lyon
Billy the Kidd replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
Yeah, maybe - im interested if he serves up more of the same, or if now we have a few extra players he can change it up - as in he felt he had no choice to play this way. Now we can stretch play better with quick players off a target man, maybe that changes the way we play generally. Dont hold out much hope, but I’m willing to give him a chance over the next few weeks to do such a thing. If he doesnt, we could be pretty fucked really. -

I usually agree with much you post, but seriously no manager wants players of limited ability - it is a ridiculous thing to say. I do wonder if we dont win any of them next say 4 games if he will shortly be on his way though. Pressure is firmly on. -
Whilst not disagreeing totally with formations, line-ups etc, part of me thinks that actually maybe they players should be called out if they are not following instructions. This has been part of our issue for far to long, we have fannied around them treading on eggshells, when they need to know they are a major part of our problem. I have no issue with players being told if they are not following instruction, I didnt mind NJ bollocking Moussa the other day for just this, id rather that than Ralph standing there looking fucking gormless and lost like he did almost every game for the previous 12 months. Also, Im not so sure I really heard Ralph shoulder much or any of the blame for our lame performances, this whole Ralph thing, with you and others, is getting weirder by the day - he isnt here for a reason. He had 4 years, his team. Jones has had a couple of handfuls of games - for me he rightly will be given a chance, and I agree with Nick saying we need to drop all this old shite now and get behind NJ and the team…
-
Agreed. Also, th post you quoted could literally have been written every 3 months for 4 years about Ralph. I cant believe the blindness to Ralph, one of the main things he did was play people out of position.
-
He sure did. I have a real concern when we were outlining out future strategy to him when trying to sign him, if the term “you’ll be playing in the Championship league next season” was lost in translation as Champions League…
