  1. I do think that, no way will AM be first choice next season. It may be the summer, or hoping in Jan, but cant believe for 1 second AM will be first choice next season.
  2. I’m not sure anyone is defended AM as such, just we have 2 shit keepers until next season, where AM is likely to drop down to back up keeper, and we will get a new first choice stopper in. This is the situation we are in, maybe we will move for someone in January, thinking Sam Johnston of WBA with only 6 months of his deal left.
  3. Think you are being Farr too kind. I see no reason the clearance from Mane cant hit him square in the chops, and trickle agonisingly over the line.
  4. I think that is a tiny bit unfair, in so much as he is better than prior to going on loan, but perhaps not adequate enough as a starter. I imagine Stuart A would start in his place, with the other 10 either Moussa or Nathan. Not so bad as a sub, i.e. better than Theo to bring on, but I’d imagine next summer we must be looking to address this. Our general play needs to start yielding more goals though, and even when we went on our winning run recently, I’m pretty sure we still struggled 2nd half in all the games. It makes me Q how good Ralph is tactically, in so much as when opposing managers change their tactics, I’m not sure he is quite earning his corn. I thought 2nd half v Watford and Villa, we could easily have conceded, and the 2nd Hal’s of games is still a major concern. Last season we thought it was injuries/fatigue, this season it isn’t quite so bad, but not far enough of an improvement for me.
  5. Did we pay all his wages when on loan? Every day is a school day on here…
  6. 👏 😂 It’s been an hour since you posted that, surprised you haven’t had the forums most angry man on calling you a cunt or similar, as seems to happen at such moments! (Queue me getting told that is specially reserved for me, by said angry man!!!)
  7. Are you specifically referring to headed goal threats? In which case, yes Broja appears more of a threat. But that isnt what you initially said, you said better in the air, which doesnt just consider headed shots. Also, what about the dribble success, that is very much in favour of Che, who I think helps us gain possession further in the attacking sense of the pitch, and therefore further away from our goal. I think this is something Broja could improve on, and he likely will, let's not forget he is pretty young still.
  8. I understood they can’t recall Broja, so he won’t be playing for Chelsea this season. Id also be amazed if he had a major impact there next season also.
  9. I kind of get what your saying here, but whilst I think Broja will be better than Che in a few years, he isn’t better yet, which I expect is why we play Adams more than Broja. It has been said many times that whilst Che won’t score 20 goals a season, he is capable of 10 and maybe more, but that his play lends itself to more than just scoring, which Broja doesn’t have yet, certainly from what I have seen of him this season.
  10. Yeah the WFH thing was pretty funny, like as in how a team sport work at home. Guess they are keeping fitness up, maybe videos of automations, and Norwich tactics and stuff. It’s pretty boring also with the international breaks, cant stand them.
  11. Have we asked players to stay hom e due to Covid during the international break - didnt Redmond have it? Not a bad idea to have most in theory isolating for a week or so.
  12. Come on Justin, calm down, we are all Saints fans after all. Let's not get angsty and ballsy 👍
  13. 😅 It is almost impossible to have a reasonable conversation with that fella. Well weird.
  14. So looking at that table - is there actually much business that Villa can do also? I mean, that suggests they have c. £5m to spend, not sure if that is transfers or wages included. That would indicate they would need to sell before they spend, unless I’m getting something wrong.
  15. I thought the following summer and Mane would have only had 12 months left on his deal, making him much lower resale value. Unless, of course, I am getting my dates wrong, but pretty sure he would have gone for far less 12 months later. Also, I guess what some are alluding to, would be had we waited later int he summer to sell, his value could have been much higher - and of course that may be true, perhaps we had deals lined up as replacements and had to act quicker, who knows. I thought he may have gone for £5-10m more the summer he did, but wasnt bad business either I wouldn’t say.
  16. Think you answered your own theory.
  17. You’re embarrassing yourself now Justin. You know you’re not allowed on the internet before you’ve finished your homework.
  18. Agree, also £12-15M brought more then than it does now, prices have gone up. And Redmond and Ely do a lot of defensive work, I haven’t noticed Tella does that, so he may, but maybe that is also part of the reason.
  19. Is this post to me? You are calling me delusional when I think you may be confusing me with other posters says it all really… I haven’t said anything about Wolves, are you confusing me with someone else? Funny if so, as someone else was talking about the Wolves match recently, saying we played good and was unlucky but that wasn’t me. I was fuming after the Wolves game and wouldn’t have been upset then if Ralph walked, I’m pleased he didn’t, but I thought it was wrong to play KWP in that one, and Ralph got a few things wrong in the game - selection, tactics, subs I have barely posted to you, apart from when you asked if I’m on ‘one of my rants’ which I didn’t like, thought it was unreasonable and I said that at the time. Other than that, I’ve barely responded to you. But never mind, I’m pretty delusional, you’ve got to admit. Edit, checked my posts in the Wolves game, I only talked about the goal I’m that I didn’t think Bednarek was fouled , someone else did, I thought it was good play by Jimenez. Seriously, think you have mixed me up with someone else.
  20. Maybe learn to read what was said, as in I mentioned one thing about you. You seem to have an issue with me from Not606, I’ve asked why, which you ignore. tell you what, I’m willing to start from a clean slate with you, take you at face value, if you’re able to do the same? How ‘bout it, Buddy 🤷‍♂️
  21. Oh look, you have an audience - good for you @LiberalCommunist - that laugh may have just been your best contribution to the forum. When you grow a pair of balls, come back and we can have a sensible, grown up chat about what your problem is... And Justin - not much point us engaging here - you clearly didnt get my point about wanting Dean Smith to carry on, and defaulted to the ultra-intelligent "you must be a Villa fan then' line. Genius 😂 And yes, I do go to games and the stuff said is in context - the heat of the moment, so is somewhat more understandable. You calling someone a prick for leaving a football club, who were willing to sell him, months after they left - just think it was way OTT. To me, I think it speaks volumes on your character, which is fine if you want to behave this way - just not for me 👍 Im going to leave it there fella, boring for others to see people squabbling.
  22. Pretty much yep, although I don’t dislike Villa as such, just prefer them to keep under performing. I only commented initially, as I didn’t think it is fair calling Ings a prick, thought it was over the top
  23. Thought so, didn’t Matt get a hat trick in that game or was it his debut or something? Think he was only 17.
