True, shame the refs cant stop some of the play acting that blights the game so much…
-
I agree with the first part, some keepers could have saved it, but it wasnt easy, and was hit hard from close range. The first goal though, whilst it could have gone anywhere, was poor imo - keepers basic jobs are to push the ball to the sides, which is a ‘safer’ area of the goal threat - regardless of seeing that late, he put it back in the danger area - was a mistake, and down to him. I cant call the first save as good as it was right at him - I’d expected every keeper to make the first save, but not push it out where it came from.

Think you need to pipe down you overly aggressive, angry little man.

You’re correct, Broja will be a good player, he is very young just now, and will be inconsistent. Not sure who plays Sat though, I think currently Broja and AA are having about the same impact on games, and I think our biggest issue for all our Strikers is the lack of creating behind them. Tells, whilst playing well y’day, wasnt great when in the final third, and maybe as he hasn’t had game time, but we barely created anything for the two up top. Actually, apart from Redmond, thought he was alright, great cross and Che reacted well to score that.
-
Yep, spot on. That chance Broja tucked away was awesome last night. Won us the game, the lads a hero, fucking hero I tells you. Armstrong would have just cut back to try to turn, for some weird reason, and the chance would have gone begging.
-
Yep, happy with that would have taken a draw at kick off
-
To be fair, this is fair from a 2nd half capitulation.
-
Really good save that by Alex, credit where it’s due and all that…
-
Yeah totally agree. Alex is a bit streaky in his form and confidence. Right now I think he is in panic mode. Is it just me also, thought the ref is giving us nothing, first time I’ve got pissed off about a game for an age due to ref performance.
-
Well our fans aren’t used to 2 goals for us in game, let alone in the first 45 mins. (yes Sheldon le God, I’m aware we scored 2 v Burnley)
-
Isn’t the header from Che an extremely rare event, in that he doesn’t do headed goals.?
-
No one could save the goal, but Alex scooped the ball literally into the path of the only Leicester player who could have a free shot on goal. He should have pushed the shot to the side, it is pretty basic keeping to not push balls back out into the centre area.

There was no homophobic comment, so nothing I am ignoring. Now run along Trigger, I’m really cant be arsed to play with you anymore.
-
Thanks for the update, had no idea. It is still pretty crass, tbh.
-
A friend that is a boy. It really isn’t that hard to understand, even for you. I have lots of boyfriends. I’m sure you do, too.
-
A bit crass, wouldn’t you say, particularly in light of you ‘homophobic’ comment above. Then again, you wouldn’t say that, as you can be a bit fik.
-
At least is wasnt as aggressive as he usually posts.
-
Oh, it usually does when youre around. If you want to take that in that context, says more about you than me.
-
Oh Jesus Christ, you have been very patient waiting for TWar to say something like this for you to pick up on 🤣 I dont agree with him over this issue of Ralph’s tactics, but I find his posts pretty useful to listen to, and am pleased he is a member of the forum. On this occasion I think you and others are slightly talking this out of context, but that suits your agenda, doesn’t it… Have a good Sunday, Turkish 👍🏾
-
Oh look, your boyfriend liked that. Did you think that up all by yourself, or did he help you?
-
And ‘the bloke’s’ also changed lots this season, compared to last season. Tactics Formations Players as subs Timings of subs Harder to score against I’m sure others can state more (calling @TWar), but one thing I cant really agree with is that Ralph hasn’t learned. Still, perhaps we should be lucky you didnt post in deiner gewohnt aggressiven Weise. Good for you.
-
Not sure i totally agree with that. even the games we won, as well as we played first half of those, we were as poor second halves, and were fortunate in a couple to get the wins. I get there are swings and roundabouts, but for a year, most 2nd half performances have been an utter disaster. This shows me the players are good enough to be mid table, maybe slightly higher but not much, but that tactics, or getting out thought by opposing managers, is on Ralph. This season he has been slightly better than last, but the base was so low last season, I’m genuinely not sure if this is a good thing, or more likely an acceptable thing, or if we are slightly underachieving. We also know if things go against us, as much as we have the ability to be 1st half of last season good, we can be 2nd half of last season disastrous. The reason I am a little more nervous this season is we dont have the points we had last season as our credit in the bank so to speak. I think Dec is a huge month for Ralph personally, and can see it going either way results wise, and ultimately job wise.
-
Yeah Ralph has improved some, but Bednarek should not be a starting CB for us just now, he is the weakest link out of the defenders, and I wonder if Ralph will bench him for Lyanco, or more likely Jack. I thought Bednarek was at fault for allowing Thiago to literally waltz past him, I was fuming at that.
-
Yeah and importantly he is getting into good positions. The one in the 2nd half where he fluffed it with his left foot with the defender sliding in, I thought he should have cut back on to his right and slotted it home. That is the things about him snatching, and feeding off scraps isn’t helping. I seriously hope Ralph is working with his composure, both mentally and physically, as I think he could be a great player for us.
