Didn’t you just say to sack the players as they are shit, and Ralph isn’t the problem. now you’re saying another manager will be able to sort the defence out. Im confused.
-
-
See I don’t think our players are quite as bad as they are currently playing. Maybe someone else will be better than Ralph, and I think he will go pretty soon.
-
Ralph selected him. And kept him in the team after the Norwich game
-
I get what you are saying, but Ralph gave Long a 2 year deal, and gave Theo a deal also. And decided not to sell Valery.
-
Whilst we played well for the first 20 mins or so, I think Arteta tweaked his system or tactics and we haven’t laid a glove ont hem since. I hope it ends up as 6 or 7 and Ralph fucks off.

Oh boobies.

Thanks for the info, appreciate you taking the time. My point is whilst I agree vaccinations have helped reduce the spread, and hospitalisations, and ultimately deaths, the headlines are always focusing on the most shocking statistics. 4k daily hospitalisations doesn’t really correlate though to 60k cases per day, as in reality there were always far, far more than 60k cases each day, so believe it would be far lower than 25%. You also mention this in Jan 20, when vaccinations had only really started, so we are no where near that position now. It is valid Q’g why there are no other stats on how many are actually affected by the virus, as it is likely to be well under 10%. It is likely we are getting 100k cases a day just now in reality, with how many going into hospital - a few hundred at best?
-
Ok, that is useful. But that is just 1 hospital. I know the majority of people in hospital are unvaccinated. That seems to be natural. Although I dont seem to have seen numbers plastered daily in the press/news outlets saying of 5000 people in hospital right now (arbitrary figures) xxx are vaccinated. Would be interesting to know the facts. And of the 50k cases each day, how many are feeling poorly?
-
How many of the 50k a day who are CoVid positive after a test are unwell? Not a dig, I’m genuinely interested, as it is something I dont believe I ever have found a stat for that. Out of the positive cases each day, how many are feeling poorly, how many of them need hospital treatment. It just seems the only news we get fed are shock headlines, not all that much useful data.
-
Joker 🤣 You see, i am double jabbed, and waiting for an invite for my booster. I dont tell people not to get vaccinated. I am not a conspiracy theorist. But suggesting people who dont vaccinate should be treated differently is mental, inhumane, and is actually anti-life. Doesn’t make people obstinate, just makes you come across as pious and pretty ill educated.
-
Why are unvaccinated people not worthy of treatment - that is more tiranic than what is going on just now. Everyone is entitled to the same level of treatment. Would we all be banning smokers from treatment from heart disease or cancer? This type of thinking is as bad as the anti vaccers - I have no issue with people who cant or wont get the vaccine, it is their choice, and our healthcare should be available for all. Very dangerous thinking is this, that people who are not, for whatever reason, unvaccinated shouldn't be allowed healthcare, or that they, in by having access to healthcare, are killing other people.

Not really, I mean that is part of the risk, but they also have Reece James and a buy back clause for Tino. There will be winners and losers but overall it’s worked pretty well for them. Id say that was good business for them and us, and for the next few years Tino isn’t getting ahead of James.
-
I saw an article on them a couple of years ago that was saying whilst they do hoover a lot of 'talent', it had netted them over £400m in transfer fees - think that was part of their strategy, to get loads in, some may be good for them, and the rest they sell on at a profit. Unlike a party in Downing Street, that wasnt to be sniffed at.
-
I wouldn’t disagree, it wasn’t really what was said. And on reflection all the bigger than this stuff is well boring so I’m leaving it there 😅
-
To be fair to MLG - you did say "bigger in every sense", and his example was an area they are behind us, and likely other clubs. That said, id imagine they could fix that pretty quickly with investment.
-
That said, very happy with this, am I alone thinking he may actually be better than what we already have at the club?
-
Has anyone got a copy of our goalkeeping playbook? Actually, has Ralph even asked our GKs to read it?
-
Is Ings injured again - not even in the squad today.
-
A point here, this season we aren’t losing many games, seem to be drawing lots more than last year, where we did lose a lot. Drawing and not losing, which we likely would have done last season, could be a helping hand keeping us up this year.
-
What time does the F1 start tonight? Need to plan cooking around this. Thought is was around 5pm
-
Pretty sure Roy Keane and others would have. I’m not blaming JWP btw, I think Alex should have signalled himself and Ralph should have asked his players why others were taking goal kicks.
-
Yep like that a lot, was what I was thinking, SA would be my preference but Diallo if not fit. If we survive this season, which we should, we must be looking at our advanced midfielders in the summer. Good point re flying fullbacks, we have great strength there and some of the best talent in the league.
-
Good point, also it doesn’t remove much goal threat by swapping an additional midfielder for an attacker, as our tens don’t score anyway. Could be worth trying.
