Great game from Moi again. Surprised it's him coming off - but still a chance to see Tino further forward?
-
I think we're the best team to watch in the league right now.
-
I'd be happy to see Tino on for Stu

We've become indomitable.

VICTI AB NONEM!

It's almost worth having him just to sing "Theo Walcott He's won more than you" at the spuds.
-
Bookies should be offering The Ralphabet©
-
No Theo on the bench. We obviously just picked him to troll the spuds.

Took a screenshot from the highlights at the moment when Royale made contact with Broja. The ball is about 2 metres away.

Mo Salisu's interception stats are ridiculous. He leads the league with 58 interceptions. Second is Michael Keane with 43, 15 behind Salisu. Twentieth is Hojbjerg with 30, 13 behind Keane. Premier League Player Stats - Interceptions He's also high in the table for all the other defensive stats. I don't think I'd want to swap him for any other defender in the league at the moment, even VVD. I certainly wouldn't trade him for any of the Man Utd lot we're up against tomorrow.

I'd have taken two points from City, Spurs & Utd. That we're now thinking about seven points is insane.

I'm really looking forward to this. I just found out that my Spurs fan dad isn't going so I've got his season tickets. I've managed to arrange last minute to go with an old friend of mine who lives in Walthamstow so I can stay at hers after and not have to get a late train home. Obviously I'll have to celebrate any Saints' goals internally to avoid a potential beating, but I reckon I can manage. The only time I didn't have to hide it was when I went with my dad and Mick Channon to the game at WHL in May 2016 and Mick and I quietly, but obviously among the silent Spuds, celebrated both of Steven Davis's goals. Tomorrow I'd go with KWP on the right and give a Tino a break. He's coming back from injury and I want him fit for Man Utd. I think KWP is plenty good enough on the left, but he's best on the right. I want him to have a cracking game against his old club, and he deserves a shot at it from his best position.

We were so lucky to only concede one goal goal today. I reckon they could have had five in the 90 minutes.
-
He had some good moments but couldn't have been considered for MoM if Willy hadn't saved his worst moment. Caballero was my MoM.
-
He makes us play so much better when he's fit and on form.
-
I reckon that not having Salisu on the pitch was the main reason we looked inferior to usual. We had nobody making his blocks and interception today. I think he would have halved their chances. We also missed his pace in defence, and his positive passing and that pace again when he takes the ball forward. I'm so glad he'll be back for Spurs.
-
Biggest disappointment today was Adam Armstrong. He couldn't even look half decent against mid-Championship opposition. Small was also rather poor. The way he gave up in the build up to their goal was awful.

I'm really impressed by how Redders has somehow rediscovered his instinctive attacking intent. He went through a long period where whenever he got the ball I'd expect him to pass it backwards or lose the ball. Now he's back to being one of our most adventurous players; he's always looking for an attacking pass or run, and not scared to have a shot if he sees one on. He's really impressed me this season, and had a good game today.
-
Long's attacking skills are seriously lacking these days, but there aren't many better players than him at defending from the front. His ridiculous tenacity actually made us three or four half decent chances today by forcing the keeper or defenders into rushed mistakes. He gives us so much more than Walcott.

Big Willy Caballero has been excellent today.

We should probably be 3 down; we're lucky still to be in this.

I think my response to another team's player Armstronging one of our players would depend on the sort of team they'd been through that game. If they'd spent the game diving around searching for cards, I'd be demanding a red. If they'd been playing fair and accepting the ref's decisions with no bitching, I'd like to think I'd be more amenable to yellow for their player. I think Stu's clash is now a textbook example of one right on the line between red and yellow. I reckon the lack of intent and only a minor injury should make it a yellow, but it's so close..
