  1. You appear to be a bit of a club mouthpiece. evidence so far suggests that Salisu is another Forren (as someone else suggests). I cannot believe that we would have signed a player, in a position we were desperate for in the summer, with an injury that is so debilitating, the player can’t play a single game for 6 months.
  2. Played well, offered little threat. Story of the last month or so (since Ings has been in and out). The injuries hurt us, 3-4 starters out, and those starters are our big players (apart from Ward-Prowse). However, we gave it a really good go.
  3. For all our good play, pretty toothless up top - again
  4. Good chance we are getting beat!

    Coronavirus

Assuming the vaccine has remotely the desired impact, there should be no reason what so ever to keep the country locked down at this point.
  6. It isn’t. I doubt it will happen.
  7. Why would that happen?
  8. The FA could not possibly put more fixtures on Liverpool's plate later in the season, by re-arranging their FA cup game against Villa. The fallout would be unbearable.
  9. It is become a joke to even consider squeezing it in now. For all we know, other games we are involved in could be called off at some point. Bizarre situation
  10. Arsenal would never have given him a chance? the only way that would be the case is if he was a poor player for them. One thing Arsenal do is give youngsters a chance.
  11. All fair points. However, when we ran into what was like CL money (Virgil sale), we still sat within the transfer bracket of average players. Granted, Guido was a record signing, but that was relative to our own low costed signings. Spending £20m on a striker was nothing to shout about in this league, at that time. Either way, I would be amazed if Ralph hot-footed to Leicester. Man United is the club with his name on it. Massive club who gives a manager time.
  12. Leicester are the next step up, not sure that is up for debate. Recent champions, seems to be up there pushing for CL on a regular basis and happy to spend £30m+ on players.
  13. I can only believe that when he does move on/up, it will be done respectfully, no matter what time of the season it is.
  14. I do not believe this will be on the only fixture called off. All getting weird.

    Coronavirus

I do not believe I posted (copied from twitter) that vaccinations would not take place on a Sunday?
  16. When Lallana was pictured hugging Klopp when being subbed, did this place take the michael out of him/the situatiuon?

Public Health England refusing to deliver vaccines on Sundays tells you everything you need to know about state-run health service provision. Israel has three competing, state funded, health service providers rolling out their vaccination programme. Once this is over, NHS, PHE and many areas of the civil service need a period of transformation.
  18. The Ref is bound to be dropped from the next round of fixtures. He forgot to implement the 'top 6 rule' with some of those decisions 😆
  19. That was a brilliant (defensive) performance. Forster barely had a save to make. Diallo grew into the game and I think he is going to be a very good player.
  20. We have played well and defended intelligently. I do worry that Liverpool players have worked out how to get around us. Towards the end, we were seeing early diagonals, which quickly creates 2-on-1s against us due to our wide players tucking in. I think we could improve by doing the same thing against liverpool. We should release the ball early, given we have some pace up top

Love to know what supermarket you go to, everyone I have been in has been a masked free-for-all Lets say all supermarket experiences are nice and structured like you mention and everyone remains at least 2m apart (yeah, right). Kids are at virtually no risk. The rest of the population are at minimal risk, which can be mitigated if practices are carried out like you see in the supermarkets you mention. Of course, we could just close supermarkets and move the lot to online. Cut the risk even further?

If schools shut, why not supermarkets also? If supermarkets, why not anywhere else a key worker is employed?

Which would be barking mad. Kids carry the very lowest risk of this thin (ie, virtually none). The rest of the population carry a very minimal risk. What will closing schools achieve? Slow down the spread? that ship has sailed. Bundles of other key workers have remained at work, why shouldn't teachers, given the importance of kids education?
  25. Not in a million years this season, totally agree. Disregard our form, look at the state Sheff Utd and WBA. Throw in Burnley, Fulham (who I think both will just do it) and Brighton (who are soft as shit). We are safe
