All well and good trying to play a certain way, but to constantly do so without the players is NOT the sign of such a good manager. I fully expect us to line up, with 2 strikers, massive gaps in the middle of the park, total lack of urgency to get in behind everton and get soundly beaten. That would not display the signs of a good manager.

he is miles better than our current reserve LB and would probably give Bertrand a run for his money/oust him from the team this season

Incompetent officiating again in the premier league

if it isn't a real season, does that mean we can't be relegated, or get to Wembley, or even win the cup?

When will Barbie “transition”?

Looks like Puel was actually better than Hassenhutl never thought I would say that

Either way, Ralph seems totally incapable of stopping the rot. Usually, that means the manager is spent/done/finished.
-
The elephant in the room is Ralphs failure to get a tune out of Adams. He looks like scoring as much as Long did.

Lets play a game called 'The Wheel of Racism'. Contestants must 'spin the wheel' to see what is now racist...Here goes; *SPINS WHEEL* Coca Cola employees https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/coca-cola-racism-robin-diangelo-coke-b1806122.html

He did cry when we beat Liverpool though.

Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?

Very much in a relegation scrap. Reminds me a bit like Bournemouth last year. 3rd or so early part of the season, then fell away -
That was not a penalty.

Disappointingly, Chelsea are able to pass it around/through us without breaking a sweat. Bar for a poor shot or a mis-placed final ball, we have not found ourselves in trouble yet... It is not as if we are parking 10 men behind the ball either. Just really in-offensive! Can't constantly blame injuries. We have two starters unavailable - most teams will have that, or worse. weird.
-
Considering how wide Chelsea will have players, Djenepo is very central 🤔

Anyone principled enough to avoid Southampton FC, noting the shady background of the owner (execution trial in home country)?

if we lose by less than 2, it will be a decent result. if Fulham win (which is highly likely), time to start looking at the bottom 3 and have a little concern.

Snap ref Amazon Prime. Easily worth the cost even without sport. I know Amazon are pushing for same-day delivery in some cases, over here. That is what kills the high street; their online presence/service is diabolical in far too many cases. I do not mind click and collect, but many high street 'brands' are just pathetic at it.

Loved Roy Keane’s recent assessment of Liverpool’s title defence. im sure the excuses will flow and the supposedly lovable Juergen will show his nasty side to the journos (again)

Liverpool = haha

Great draw (for once). Not just for this particular fixture, but the whole draw...we have a great chance of Wembley/The Final

Said it a few weeks back, we are very boring to watch (from a style of play PoV). Constant slow, recycling of possession within the width of the 18 yard box - anywhere around the pitch. Not getting a point, against a injury-ravaged Newcastle side, down to 10 mins for the last 40 mins and then 9 men for the last 25 mins, was ridiculous. What makes it worse, we - as with all games - barely made their keeper work.
