Martin on Sky…. their first goal disrupted everything. we knew they would play a quick free kicks and run. We did the same against united. I am so hurt with the first half. they were in self preservation mode. It was too late in the 2nd half. It is on me, we have not learnt, we were too soft. forget style of play, this was about the fight. It is going to be a problem. i have to question myself and not the players. I thought I questioned Bournemouth enough, but I will never blame the players. I did not recognise my team in the first half. I would not have got this far in my career without talent, but this is my problem to sort out. I asked the players at HT to show fight in the 2nd half. I don’t feel emotional now, it is clear what we have to do. Joe aribo was outstanding, Stewart wanted the fight. We have the characters to fight, some need to be back on the pitch. The day last year we beat Leeds and went 25 games unbeaten, the 2nd half today has to mean something…. he is clearly a broken man.
