  1. Jason Wilcox, director of football Darren Mowbray, chief recruiter. and porbably Russell Martin. The Serbian insists: “The new manager, the suggestion, the analysis and the reason why will come predominantly from Jason, not from us - because he is the director of football. Jason is the man! It is he who dragon and Ank have handed the Saints keys! Like what he has done at ManC, had 10 years there to develope their youth and done very well, he has worked with the best manager and players at ManC. It will be his vision that will dictate our future, did he choose the next manager? Our head recruiter? These 3 will be the deciders of our fate.
  2. We won ya prick, cheer up. All those mistakes and we still one, ain't life grand! How shite is leicester if they cant finish the gifts we gave them.
  3. Typical Saints supporters, gotta trash someone. Maybe his superman attempt at the ball was enough to put off an unchallenged header, nothing else was disturbing a free header. Should he have stayed rooted on his line as the denders has an unchallenged bullet header? BAZ is young and does make mistakes, but he is vital to the way we play, right or wrongly, we use him as a sweeper, never seen us use a keeper to pass back to to start or redistribute the ball so much, his ball skills with his feet and distrubution is very good.
  4. Arry on about a legend of mine, a local hero who paved the way for so many. Took alot of abuse to show people that race is not the making of a man. We gave you the Goat as well, another great ambassador from the Devils isle.
  5. A very unexpected win with our unexpected manager playing unexpected players. I am very please for Selles and team. He played a formation that all players know, 442, and used some of the same players that are maligned every week and we won. Cant ask for a better start than that. We have to back this team with encouragement for the rest of this season. Jumping on players or manager during the run in will not help. If they fuckup, bite your lip. Curse under your breath, then clap and cheer them on. I was proud to hear our away fans belting out our song at chelsea. I almost fell into the blame game. No not baz, moi. Lyanco, diallo, AA, peraud, jan b who all get alot of stick, but trully try hard.......AMN, wow, what a cunundrum. Like others i was shocked to see him in his hated rb. His casual and ponderous play and marking had me frustrated by what he brings to the team. But i will not say or post such negs on my player. So i did what i did with all of the saints misfits, had patience with him, and got to see another side of him. He is more composed than slow, doesnt get gittery, tecnically good and usually strong on the ball. He was just as much a reason we won, as any player on our team. Well done Selles and team. Brought players on at the right time and played thier roles very well, supported each other brilliantly. As fans of Saints, so can we, support, support, support! To our match attending supporters, thank you, you cheer and sing for all of us who cant be at the games to encourage our lads. Saints go marching on!
  6. NJ, You get my Sympathy, after your big oppertunity failed badly, only if you do not take the compesation pay, take the pay you have been here, accept it didn't work out and request to be paid for the hours you were here. Then you will get my respect. Now, back to reality, you will be a millionare from a few month of shite work. Get paid for work you will never do, or could do and not give ashite on how you have f$#@ked this club. Good riddance, charlatian.
  7. We are never even close to guessing who the owners will hire, who had NJ on their radar last time....hahaha
  8. Maybe you would lap it up, not WE.....jwp does wind up people, and is not childish about it. He gets stuck in. But the childish wave by NC player is a taunt that should be dealt with.
  9. Not excusing our failures, they are there for all to see, but if you think that game was reffed fairly, you are part of the problem. Some SFC fans are so docile, so forgiving they can shaft us over and over again. Dud you watch the AA handball? Did you see it closely, in slow motion, knee, hand, goal............I bet you did, but ya cant see that big oaff barging into AA back as he attemping to score, miss that big detail, just like the refs. You say we are nonedescript to all but us fans. You are right about that, even to the refs and PL, we offer them nothing, so we are despensible. To says there is no ref bias, cheating in PL is someone not dealing in reality.
  10. The final has already been decided, the refs just have to make sure it goes plan, Saints an nfc are not part of the plan. We are playing better but we are not good enough to beat a team + ref team. My Manu friend was livid at the reffing of our game, angrier than me over the bias decisions, i told him i expected it and it happens so often i just shrug and accept the corrupt PL. So very bias decisions.... yellow card for time wasting on kwp, Yet none for nc after they went in the lead and took forever to take the free kick. Card insured kwp had to be cautious. Pope clatteting dj. Card all day long AA getting shoved in the back, causing the hand to ball, Var jumping in when ref played on. INSTANT Offside flag on Mara when he was onside late in the game, when have we seen the fag go up immediatly, doesnt happen even when obviously off side, think manu rashford last week. We are a special club, therefore we have special rules for us. Making it it through to the finals will take something special..................... because it is not the PL script.
  11. You all have missed my point, when have we seen the flag raised instantly? We have seen time and time again the offside flag not raised for an obvious offside, the play will continue on. Why? That little twat could not wait to stop the play, even though he was wrong.
  12. I guess that line ref will get a promotion soon, showing great promiss that he can affect the game to his/their liking. Will be a VAR ref one day.
  13. I saw that too, replay showed Mara onside, but linesman put up flag instantly? When did they start doing that? Oh yes, SFC are playing, we have our own rules for them. Seriously, flag strait away for a non offside? When the norm recently has been to let the most obvious offside continue?? Say wahhhhhh?? I thought the our goal ruled out by var/ref was weak and the contact was minimal. Saints are only going to get out of relegation by beating 11 player, ref , 2 lines persons and var each game. Not an easy challenge.
  14. I do!!! As a defender, i think it was a terrible rule. ANY player offide is off side!! Period!! As a defender that was our super power, we could rely on that offdide line. A dopey striker who wonders off side, or a winger picking his nose on the far side is all noted by defenders and we can relax as they have committed to being offside. Sooooooooo simple. BUT NOOOOOOO, why not make it conveluted, put some vague rules as to interfering? All to make the game more exciting? More goals? Not my problem, defenders stop goals, no goals is a great game as far as we are concerned. But fuck the defence, lets change the simple offside rule so PONY can give more illeagal goals. This allows for more inconsistant refereeing and bias. For all you non ballers, all defenders know that any player offside has an infuence on the defence decisions. So this idea of not interfering with play is PONY. PONY, PONY....
  15. But you can't ignore the financial implications, it directly affects what team we have to support. So let's say we go down to enjoy more competitive games, but we will loose the pl monies after a few years, ticket prices are cheaper, so the whole package starts to deteriorate, including the pl stadium that we can no longer afford. I see no one wishing to be pompey and their footballing position is nothing to be envious about. This is the reality, we can go down, but you will loose your ability to buy good players, stadium will deteriorate and we will have a much poorer club overall. Not a good gamble just to see us be in a weaker league to assume we will be competitive. We dropped like a stone down the leagues and luckily we had SRL to save us. Every team not in the pl will have ambitions to get to the pl. You have lost your ambitions, I have not.
  16. Very interesting, love a good conspiracy theory, and by the looks of that ref it could be true. I was appalled by that refs lack of calls, letting var make the call on the Kane tackle near the box, shove on mount....... this was ineptitude at the highest level, the tackle on saka that lead to the first goal by France ....he was soooo weak that the only reason a card was shown for mounts blatant shove was because England players called for it.... he was a pupet that should be no where near this tournament. Unless he was there to make a certain outcome happen......
  17. 3 hours ago, cloggy saint said: And yet literally thousands have done it. And they all know they bottled it, choked, brain fart, fluffed their kick, cracked under the pressure. A penalty takers worst night mare is their brain. The pressure become too great and you miss a huge goal from close range with a dead ball. No respected footballer, especially a pro paid millions will miss a penalty and say it was to hard to do? They will know they messed up and it should not have happened if the nerves did not get the better of them. Harry knows he choked. But it's understandable.........we have seen thousands do it.............So thousands have choked, and wish they could have it back BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY SHOULD AT LEAST HIT THIER TARGET.......
  18. Great post, thank you for the detailed description of his coaching experience with Luton. You have elaborated on details of NJ that our owners must have seen and been tracking. This just reaffirmed that his appointment was a calculated decision on the right kind of principals we are looking for.
  19. Welcome NJ, never heard of you, but will support you and our team!! Like your philosophy and ethos on how to manage a team. Our new owners are constantly surprising me with their choices, never a clue as to what they will invest in, but always alot of research and thought into what they want. Because they uncover hidden gems, I will be constantly clueless as to their thinking as they don't choose the established, the known, the obvious. That moneyball tactic will always mean excitement and anxiety in equal measure. This is the biggest test for them as it is their choice of a new manager and how they see us going forward with their 1st choice managerial appointment.
  20. Great to see CC showing why we were rumored to be after him for a few transfer windows. The 4 cb of CC, Sal, Lyanco and ABK is a very strong group! Love the way he man handle Jesus! With Lyanco also being more involved in the back line this year, our Serb and Croat will scare the shite outta teams!
  21. Well done Dj, always like what you bring to our team. So happy your hard work and dedication got you an extention. You attitude on the field and off is great and I hope you can push on to be an even greater asset to the team!
  22. It will not take long for our new young standout crop to be snapped up. LAVIA is already on Chelsea radar..... The Blues took Zakaria on loan from Juventus last Thursday but Boehly is said to be aware that the Switzerland international is a short-term fix. Chelsea turned to Zakaria after having offers rejected for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia and Ajax’s Edson Alvarez.
  23. From Chelsea.......We were told when Boehly arrived at the club that, for the first time in two decades, the manager would have the final say on transfers. True to his word, despite the new owner wanting Cristiano Ronaldo, Tuchel said no and that was that. The seven players, bought for £250m, were therefore ‘Tuchel signings’. The last of which, signed 130 hours before his dismissal (give or take), was about as Tuchel a signing as it’s possible to be. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – whom Tuchel had described as “my player” even before he had agreed to join – played 59 minutes of football under Daddy before Daddy was shown the door.
  24. Looks like Saints sent another manager to the employment office. Owners hate loosing to little Ole Saints. We spent the same in transfer fees as they did for one player and with kids we won the game! Chealsea new owners as ruthless as the last gangsters oligarch. What a mess, buying loads of players, tons of money spent, good players getting stale, buy more players.....what a shite show......loving it!!
  25. That one of the blatant things they do for the chosen team in th PL, 8+ min for pool ? Small team chasing and the whistle will blow within seconds of a small extra time. Ralf was livid with the 4 min for the last game. Obvious bias ignored by the millions.....billions.
