  1. Are we expecting a war with plenty of bombardment of our goal?..I wouldn't mind seeing Walker-Patton play myself.
  2. Two all time club legends scoring here...
  3. Lots of long balls from the back from us I reckon, could be good if we can get in behind them on the counter attack.
  4. Shlong's semi is still bigger than Will's Smallbone...
  5. I think that a change of formation might work with 5 at the back and 3 CMs. I think that Tino needs a rest as he appears to have tired in games lately and he is still only 19. If Stuey is fit I would bring him on later or if we are chasing the game, the same with Redders and Broja.
  6. Happy days!...

This is the crux of the matter for me, he is not spontaneous and certainly not brave enough on the ball and i'm still waiting to see what the scouts saw in him to make the club splash out £16m on him. He has now played 26 PL games for the club and barely created anything of note in all those matches.

Woah!, steady on there Grandad..😄..haven't you ever heard of the right of free speech? It's my opinion as a longstanding Saints supporter since the age of 9 that Mr Elyounoussi hasn't shown the required standard to represent my club in the PL and the official stats suggest that my opinion is not entirely baseless. Now, remember his role in the team is chiefly as a creator and occasionally scorer of goals and the facts that stand out to me are ZERO assists (in the whole time he has been at the club) shooting accuracy of 27% (6 shots on target), ZERO cross accuracy (from 12 crosses), ZERO big chances created, 2 big chances missed and just the one lucky finish at Newcastle. Oh and I never "invented" the nickname, it is a lighthearted one used by a lot of Saints fans I know because of the difficulty of spelling his name correctly and i'm not going to "sod off" anytime soon just because you don't agree with my opinion.

I'm sorry, I thought that his nickname was common knowledge throughout the Saints support, my bad.

He's been picked above those players when they have been available too.

I think that the SPL/Championship is probably his level but he appears to never have enough time and rushes everything in the PL. He had a couple of really good opportunities to shoot yesterday and failed to make a decent contact on either. I don't recall him taking players on or crossing much either.
  12. He's had a good and pretty consistant season so far but the two goals he let in yesterday he really should've saved. Let's hope it doesn't knock his confidence too much and he returns to his form of last season.

Can anybody tell me what Ralph sees in him?, as one of the supposed "creative" players in the team you would expect a few goals and assists from him every now and again and I only recall the one rather fortunate goal at Newcastle in the PL. He's no more effective now than when we packed him off to Jockland a couple of years ago IMO.
  14. Redmond is a new dad and Stuey picked up a "knock" apparently.
  15. Ralph does like to throw a little curveball in there every time doesn't he?
  16. I think that we have goals in the team now to go with the better organised defence, Che and AA to score in a comfortable 2-0 win.
  17. This dude from the States is clearly in awe of him!...😁

I really think that this could be Che's breakthrough in the PL and he could have a JRod circa 2013/14 type season as regards to goals. He is clearly a confidence player and it must be sky high at this present time. He is certainly a top finisher when he is on it.
  19. He's still a decent manager that was on a poor run which happens to the majority of managers during a career, even Koeman here.
  20. I really hope that Narrrch stay up at Villa's expense but i'm very much hoping that their recovery does not start until after saturday's match.
  21. We sing "James Ward Prowse my Lord", so it's not suprising that he may think himself as aristocratic...
  22. I think it's that Pellegrino and Hughes and to a lesser extent Puel are still fresh in the memory and Ralph's teams have shown periods of what might be possible. His high energy style of football is appealing but it was also detrimental in the second half of last season when the squad collectively ran out of gas.
  23. Yes, it was a disappointment for sure but Leicester were heavy favourites on the day, it would be a lot more even odds this season
  24. Yes, we managed to get there but the team was almost running on empty by that point and confidence was shot after a poor run of results. If we had to play Leicester this week in a S/F I would say the odds were much more 50-50 now than they were then, that's my point.
  25. Yes. I agree Van Dick was already one of the top CBs in the World with us, hence the World record fee for a defender.
