I'd say he was Saints best ever goalkeeper. Although his afternoon at fratton park in April 2005 was not his finest hour (90 minutes).

Hear hear! When Saints released a kit for the 2016 Europa League, as I understand it, UEFA rules stipulated that all kits had to have a plain back. This kit also had thinner stripes on the front. Unfortunately, once again, Saints don't look like they're going to qualify for European competition for next season. So please, please, please don't have the plain backs if the front is stripes. These shirts look like, those awful half&half shirts that tourists buy outside grounds.

I'm a Saints fan, so therefore I hate every other team, obviously some more than others. But I especially dislike football fans who have a second team. Don't get me started on those that wear those half&half scarves. Southampton Football Club may not be the best team in the world, but as far as I'm concerned they're the ONLY team in the world! That's all he wrote!

Hopefully Ralph approaches the tie in a positive frame of mind. He's prone to go into some games with an inferiority complex, which is no good to anyone. This will be far from Manchester City's priority. They will put the Premiership and the Champions League above the FA Cup. But saying that they'll have players on their bench who have cost them a King's ransom. But there's a togetherness at Southampton Football Club that they can't compete with. Bring it on!

In last seasons Everton home match Saints had a Stuart Armstrong goal disallowed for offside, which was not shown on MOTD. But they did show an Everton substitution. Which they thought was more of highlight than a disallowed goal. I'm sure there are many more instances of, so called, big team bias.

It says that Willy Caballero was training with Wimbledon. If he was any good wouldn't Wimbledon have signed him? But obviously I hope he is a major success. Over the years I remember Saints using Jim Montgomery, Kasey Keller & Richard Wright when our other goalkeepers were injured. There's probably more but these three are the ones I remember. Montgomery in 1976 for 5 games. Keller in 2004 for 4 games. Wright in 2008 for 7 games.

To me, it should always be stripes. But saying that I think it should be all stripes, front, back and sleeves. This latest kit resembles one of those awful Saints & Liverpool half & half scarves.
