I want Ivan to succeed just so a journalist can interview Russell Martin afterwards and ask him about how his style was a miserable failure and the sole reason Saints were struggling.

Why would you say that? Everything about his style is described as aggressive and attacking so why is it suddenly not true? Question how effective he is sure, but to say it's not true at all is bizarre

I don't pretend to know anything about Ivan but if he is what he is described to be then I'm all in. Russell Martin was exactly what we were told he was and I never ever liked him. Suddenly my apathy for the club is fading. Things may actually start to get interesting now.

Excruciating to watch as Saints once again play the game as if they don't want to score. So slow and negative. We get up to their area and pass back to our own keeper, it's infuriating. Great to get some points but what an awful game. If the board and RM think this justifies them destroying the beautiful game then I have no hope for the teams future.

Whilst it's possible that SR has approached Moyes and Potter and were rejected ( questionable due to the poster). It's feasible that it's SR who were rejected rather than our team as such. If SR demanded that a new coach continue Russball in all its glory, that could be the reason they were not interested

I think we needed to get promoted but we should have dropped Russell as soon as it was confirmed. If an idiot like me could see it wouldn't work then how on earth did Sports Republic think it would?

Russell has consistently stated that he values statistics over results. This is on him. He does not care about the team surviving, only seeking to validate his own obsession. So he deserves the supporters vitriol

As shown, you don't need a decent manager. You can scrape through the play off's with a mediocre Championship manager.
