Woeful passer who would get eaten alive in a Russell Martin side. Some defensive talent there but not a loss by any means. Hopefully we got upwards of £5M.

Martin & Swansea play a pretty attractive, attacking style of football. Obviously concerns over the goals they shipped. They ended the season on a 9 game undefeated streak as well.

Unpopular opinion but I sort of feel bad for him. He’s not a manager, let’s make that clear. He is an assistant coach/conditioning coach/analyst who is way out of his depth. I’d let him go altogether because he cannot work with these players clearly but the onus should fall on Sport Republic for putting a 39 year old with zero prior managerial experience at the senior level in charge of a relegation battle.

At least if Marsch comes in it’ll be a breath of fresh air in the clubhouse for the lads, I’m sure they got tired of hearing about welsh mining communities
