Luton Town, September 1990. Pretty uninspiring 2-1 loss. Remember Elstrup scored twice early for Luton, but oddly couldn’t remember who got one back for us. Just saw it was Rideout. Went in with high hopes, as we’d been excellent the season before, and brought down to earth with a resounding bump. Kind of sums up the 30 years that followed.
