It’s actually quite interesting. You can literally see the difference, the step up must be huge to this level and commanding an area with such established players must be a huge change. He must be rattled. Will take a few games. Think he needs to be given a run and trusted to settle

Yes!! and it's all part of the ride! I guess I'm just looking at the types of transfers we're making and thinking; Can Che, A.Armstrong or someone we sign, have the impact of that calibre of player in the Premier League? Do we put all our eggs in one basket on a £20m+ Striker or overhaul the front 4 looking for 7ish goals from each position? Can you get the quality of player within our budget anymore...... Thats more my concern I guess. City had no main man last season, I wonder if we're better not bothering with a large chunk on a striker and signing a few other positions as a priority. It's all speculation anyway, Im no expert!

Anyone else feeling a little pessimistic? Not wetting the bed, in-fact have just bought my first season ticket in years. But - I can see 3/4 exits and very little happening with real impact players, building a defence around Salisu is scary in my opinion - he was "available" at best last season.... It's all very exciting with some fast transfers in. But it feels similar to Tino, Small and Simeu - promising young players who will do well on loan and might come into the team in the cups alongside Tella and Diallo, but are we going to "Overhaul" the squad without a Newcastle level investment?? We surely don't have the budget for a 10+ goal scorer. Looking at the table of Goal scorers last Season -JWP was on level terms on 10 Goals with - Antonio, Fernandes, Smith Rowe, Richarlison - None of whom are anywhere near the the type of player profile we can afford to buy, Slightly up the table, Mahrez, Mount, Maddison........... Further out of reach. I'd love it if i was wrong, but I cannot see goals, or an impact in defence. If Prowsey does go - I'd be really worried.

We really don’t lack individual quality. Tino kwp jwp Romeu and a bunch of them seem to all have it about them. But when it goes wrong it really goes wrong - just crumble In terms of individuals (outside of top 6) who would you use in place of general starting 11?
