  1. I absolutely agree. Sorry, I was suggesting real poo might be more suitable, should've used one of those emoji thingys the young 'uns like these days. My hens are happy to donate.
  2. I really don't understand this silly attitude towards the seats for hard arses. I mean, why fake bird poo.
  3. No show here, the only thing delivered by our postie was one of those slips saying someone had posted an item without paying full postage on it, so can we stump up £4 and collect please. I assume its not my ticket. Really quite perplexed by this year's mess, almost like they are trying to p*ss off the customer.
  4. Postie just been, no ticket. I don't know where the tickets/cards are being sent from but a first class letter sent from Birmingham on Sat only arrived this morning. The club are certainly introducing a little suspense and tension into this. If anyone gets the card delivered maybe they could let us know, and when the blooming thing was posted. Ta.
  5. LFT are pretty much useless, about 50% accurate. Even the USA has banned their use in any meaningful setting. Of course our numpty politicians keep buying and promoting them for reasons obscure, though almost certainly connected to whose making £££ from them.
  6. My request for info and my clear statement that not providing a season ticket a week into the season would be a breach of our contract requiring reimbursement ( I really regret renewing now) got a response today. I'm asked to be patient. I've pointed out some of us have to arrange/pay for travel and don't have the time luxury (or physical stamina) to enjoy the 'ruck' outside the ticket office on matchday. The club had said tickets would be sent out 2 weeks prior to the season start. I've also pointed out Royal Mail continue to report delays in many areas due to the pingdemic. I don't think it's unreasonable to crticise Saints on this, no abuse obviously. A Premier League club who seem surprised by the start of, erm, the football season is odd to say the least. Telling me to be patient is somewhat condescending, nothing in the mail today so just 3 days left. I just want what I've paid for from the people I paid money to weeks ago.
  7. I thought preseason was over ?
  8. I've defended the T.O. a little during the plague year but this is getting silly, especially with C19 pass/tests checks supposedly to be done. The emailing from the club has always been flaky for me, adverts fine, anything else forget it. They also smugly suggest you're not checking your spam or haven't agreed for notifications, y'know like after you've been doing it repeatedly for 3yrs. I'm not travelling from Dorset on just the off chance of getting in. I've had my jabs, downloaded the NHS pass app, paid my money months ago. Only now it seems just to see if I can fight my way to the ticket office and get there early enough to sort something out. Makes the Dell in 1978 look easy, even if you did have to get past the evil car park attendant.
  9. We need to keep Everton out for the first 20-30 mins, the crowd will turn on them as it's not a happy place at the moment. Slow realisation that they've spunked 500million over the last 5 years on average players alongside the manager sillyness during that time, it will not go well if we can fustrate them at Goodison. Thats a big if though.
  10. Have they charged people actual money to go today? Surely training sessions should be secret or free.
  11. Is Harry Kane determined to look as stupid as his p**s take on Deadringers? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58122156 I sense he's not convinced anyones coming in with a bumper bid for him.
  12. Giving your all? depends on circumstances. I was made redundant in 1982 and spent my last month's notice wandering around the Soton Uni campus with a clipboard which seemed to deflect any questions on what the flip I might be doing, which was bugger all. Ironically the Uni (spured on by panic during Thatcher's fund cutting) got all the mechanics of dumping me wrong, ended up having to pay £8000+ (a lot of money in 1982) to make me go which did make me feel slightly guilty (for about 30secs). Guess I'm just a bad man. Footy players on the whole will always 'look' bad as being paid big dollops of dosh rarely gains you sympathy as you try to get even more enormous dollops elsewhere.
  13. Worse than 'Where's Wally' this bleeding game.
  14. No email for me (as usual, despite complaints/+checking email alerts are ticked) so attempted to pay using my saved card. System crashed, will no longer allow me to attempt payment or indeed show my credit from last year. I guess I'll have to phone in and try to sort it but tbh almost at the stage of saying just give me my money back and I'll put it towards a nice new uhd TV.
  15. TBH any idea of letting Ralph go as we plunged down the table was quickly brought into focus by the utter rubbish managers available to replace him. For a club outside the top 6 options are very limited, mostly a gamble. Benitez on 7 mill a year apparently. Saints certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near that.
  16. Well being rivals doesn't mean you have to fight y'know. Despite what some think. Glad you had a laugh.
  17. Everton fans heads explode as they employ a manager who called them a 'small club' while in charge of their deadly rivals. Makes our first game a bit special, if we win expect rioting. It seems only yesterday they were calling us a small club, pinching our manager and boasting about their 'war chest' with which they would rule the football world. Funny old game.
  18. He'll wait 'till we're down to 10 men.
  19. Harry Kane, our sloth in the box.
  20. My thought was Tommy Forecast lives, in Spain.
  21. Savage is a numpty. Just says stuff, no knowledge about the game or apparently eyes.
  22. Just when you thought the Euros were using VAR correctly, sigh.
  23. Everton forums adding to the entertainment. I used to quite like them but the Koeman stuff and rabid "WARCHEST" posturing changed my mind. Like Spurs they started wanting a high profile appointment but as Benitez looked more likely they really, really, really would like that nice Mr Howe to give then a call.
  24. Hmm, looks like it could actually be Benitez at Everton for the 1st game. So tv game assured, and could be hilarious.
