I bet you'd charge extra for them though Tella is looking better at champ' level, though I think we sometimes forget how poor some defences in that league can be. For me it's his overall attitude that's the most obvious change, he looks interested and very up for it. If that attitude follows him back to St Marys we'd be fools not to utilise him, we are hardly rich in attacking options. Otherwise get a few £ and move on.

Feels like a check flashscore every few mins until we go 3-0 down sort of day. Distraction activities are advised.

And running in circles until he disapears up his own bottom.

They've put a big price sticker on his bum?

What we don't want to do now Adam, is let a goal in.

As it will now be known in this household, ta Wurzel.

Some of the best boos I've heard at a footy match. Even if half of us didn't remember why

Everton fans convinced 21m and he's theirs. Not the most grounded group of chaps tbh.

Kick-ins instead of throw-ins: a potential rule change!
steve green replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
I remember watching a game or two at Bognor in the 90s where they tried it for a season. Bloody pointless, slowed down the play and you could see the poor player's having a panic attack while struggling with the decision to 'kick or throw'. -
One of my most cherished moments from those days, Nigel had the grace to look a little embarressed. My other fond memory of Kelvin was him coming on during the game against Burnley (2015) when Fraser got crocked. Promptly made a couple of great saves to ensure we got the points to maintain our CL challenge. Heady days. Lets not get all Spursy, just wish the bloke well.

After the NHS community team I worked for were transfered to another NHS Trust I was asked by the new managers, as I was the senior nurse, to present and explain the new setup to the other staff. Half way through the presentation I noticed my role no longer existed, the buggers. As to goalkeepers being top coaches I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the top candidate imo -

That's seeded my dream sequence for tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.

I always wondered what Martina had on Koeman, so did the Everton fans when he turned up there.

No. But feel free to take a walk on the wild side. https://en.vipleague.tv/southampton-vs-chelsea-1-live-streaming

After reading the Chelsea forum over the last few days they can fcuk off. Apart from a few sensible posts (which get jumped on) the theme is one of who cares if our Russian owner is a criminal thug, look at our shiny trophies. Self entitlement taken to an obscene level. We know they'll be some in the home seats anyway, always happens. Don't fancy being a steward for this one.

Be interesting to see what happens to the buyback / sell-on % arrangements they've made with other clubs. Some decisions will need to be made sooner rather than later as individual players would be able to walk if their ability to transfer or career progress is affected. Chelsea in effect would be in breach of contract, even if it was due to sanctions out of their control.

Chelsea forum is actually quite repulsive at present. All clubs have dickhead fans but these idiots really don't care about war, death and misery. Just as long as their club can continue to spend blood money and buy success.

But not according to most of their 'fans' on fighting cock. Never good enough to be a spurs player apparently.

For those over 40, a trip back memory lane
steve green replied to Southamptonsi's topic in The Saints
Brilliant thread! Many great memories. Thanks to my bruv in law to be, I helped out in the players bar after matches a couple of times. I remember Dave Watson had two of Status Quo as guests there after one game, and Golacs wife was erm, a unit. Highlight was getting Kev K a lager, only a half you understand. Anyone remember the old parking guy at the Dell, must've been the most miserable man in the world bless him. -
I thought the winner of the EFL cup qualifies for the play-off round of the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League. According to Wikipedia anyway.

You silly sausages, Everton fans are convinced their superb recruitment team will sell DCL for 70m and get Broja for 30m in the summer. They are looking forward to running their eyes over him in a few days time.
-
Silly thing is with 5 mins left to play Pogba and the utd brains trust spent 3 mins acting like schoolkids to the ref. I remember the days you'd have to take the ball to the corner flag to use up time. These numpties did it for us, with the ref laughing at them.

If you attended a party with Boris present, are a Russian who's donated £100,000 to the Conservatives or shagged his missus to Abba songs you're fine.

Digne going has indeed given them a little wriggle room. But unless Broja is actually passionately in love with Lampard, and wants his babies, I can't see anyway he'd even think about going there. It's a footballer's graveyard at present, with a reputation of wrecking the progress of young players while providing retirement options for others. Their fanbase remains convinced they only have to show a little leg (=money) and he'll walk to Goodison to sign of course. They also really don't seem to understand how a buy-back works, idiots.
