Norwich away, Man United away, Tottenham away? All brilliantly taken goals.
-
I think Che would be valued a lot higher if we had a winger(s) who could actually score goals. It's no coincidence that some of his best link-up comes with Stu, but someone a bit quicker and the tenacity to go beyond (a la Raphinha, Ismalia Sarr) would really turn his hold-up play into a weapon.
-
I'd be fuming if we sold Che and Tella / Armstrong stayed at the club
-
They're all seriously shit
-
Saints Extra just aggregates the news from literally every source. Gerard Romero is basically a Barca stooge who gets the odd scrap of info in return for drumming up interest in players. I'd suggest this is more of that.
-
Exactly, it's rolling the dice in a way - something we had to do when we didn't have a pot to piss in. If we're going to shop in the £30m market at last, why not go for someone ~22-25 who has a few good seasons behind them in senior football. It's not like they aren't going to have a resale value two or three years down the line.

Hate to stick up for MLG... But surely we have learned from Toby Alderweireld??
-
Redmond trained today but Ralph wanted a "smaller squad". Writing is on the wall for him, methinks. I think he's got a lot more about him than Elyonoussi, so that's a shame. Maybe he's a more saleable asset.
-
Yeah we didn't create anything but you said he irritated their defence, which is just wrong. Even if we do come up with this creativity, AA9 isn't the answer. He's not good enough - loan to buy please.
-
I think you mean Watford's defence irritated Adam Armstrong - because he barely had a touch in that first half. He was completely bullied. At least Che has the ability to come short and hold it up, and also has the intelligence to drift out wide if he doesn't get it for a while.

Romeu the third furthest-forward player in this system right now. With predictable results 🥱
-
Seems to be a 532 this half if my eyes don't deceive. Stu and Che up front, Lavia / JWP / Aribo in midfield. Balance looks better
-
JWP territory alert .... High over the bar - he's rusty
-
He just isn't good enough, is the long and short of it. Not quick, not a good finisher, not strong, not good in the air, not smart with his runs - a good striker needs to be good at at least two of those things.
-
Yeah, I know. Just think there's more to it than just a striker to unlock our scoring problems.
-
All we've done so far is lump it up to AA9's feet, however. Still think we need someone with a bit of magic in their boots to go alongside a new ST - thinking Raphinha, Saint-Max, etc. It's so one dimensional at the moment.
-
Shame we got shot of SKD, he could've made himself useful by going over the pitch with a watering can during HT. It's as dry as a bone and really not helping either side.
-
This system is painfully blunt going forward
-
Stepped it up somewhat last 5 minutes, nice play down the flanks - not sure what we're supposed to be aiming for when we get in behind down there, however...
-
Lavia struggling with the pace of it today, in my eyes anyway
-
KWP limping. We seem a couple steps behind atm, probably to be expected with their season starting next week.
-
Champions - Man City Top 4 - Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea FA Cup - Arsenal League Cup - Liverpool Relegated - Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford Saints - 16th, Ralph to last the season despite end-of-season collapse Signing of the season / Golden Boot - Haaland World Cup winners - Brazil
-
£5 on Watford's website
-
Please no ffs Relying on two kids with next to no first team games is suicidal. And before MLG brings up Broja and Tino, I'll just ask how the second half of their seasons went...
-
Would be a perfect signing - bung them £5m for the season and get it done
