Thought we played Wolves on Sunday. That's six days ago not 4.

You can hear from Hythe if the wind is in the right direction. I know because I heard two great roars that day we lost 3-2 to Chelsea. Both times I checked my phone for confirmation we had scored.
-
Remember a few years ago I was in Hythe when we were playing Chelsea. Heard two huge roars across the water, checked my phone each time, and found we'd scored two. Went in a few shops, checked the phone again and we were 3-2 down.

Sounds like we have one doubtful starter tomorrow. Armstrong would be my guess and, if so, that is a big blow.
-
It's a fair point. Players should accept having mistakes pointed out to them because they might at least attempt to try not to repeat the error. The number of times we allow opponents to drift into our box unmarked when we have plenty of bodies around to get tight is ridiculous and it costs us lots of goals. Somebody needs to start pointing these things out on the pitch during matches rather than just shrugging then wash, rinse and repeat.
-
They must be well disguised changes then. Surely one smart change would involve a system to hold for a while and conserve energy so that we are not burnt out after 50-60 minutes. This would especially help in games where we take the lead and might help stop this constant losing from winning situations.

Most teams, as soon as they go down to 10 men, play with one forward and two rigid banks of 4. It is sensible and it makes it tough for the opposition to break you down. Not sure what we did in either of the 9-0 defeats but we were certainly easy to break down.

No.

Agree. It is the system that is causing so many capitulations because it is impossible to maintain a high energy pressing game for 90 minutes in every match over a season. Ralph needs to fix this or it will continue to happen.
-
It is not impossible to have two or three systems drummed into the players and swap around during matches depending on how things are going. Sticking rigidly to one system with no other options is poor as a long term strategy. Football these days is getting more advanced so coaches have to be smart and keep coming up with new ways of getting the most from their teams.

Hojbjerg is pants. Wouldn't want him back on a free transfer.
-
Professional footballers should be capable of quickly adapting to a new formation. Besides, they should be regularly trying out various formations in training rather than relying on one system.
-
Two tight banks of four is the game plan in case you missed it.
-
Maybe even go 5 at the back; Forster Ramsey Bednarek Vestergaard Salisu Bertrand Armstrong Ward-Prowse Romeu Redmond Ings Bednarek, Armstrong and Ward-Prowse to help out and cover Ramsey.
-
Battle of ex-Saints at six o'clock. Cork and Rodriguez for Burnley against Reed and Lemina for Fulham. Don't mind a draw or Burnley win.
-
Whatever we do I still think it will take a miracle for one of the current bottom 3 to escape relegation.
-
That's what Ralph is paid a lot of money to sort out.
-
Big Fraser in goal, two tight banks of four and two up front. Easy.
-
The definition of insanity is to keep doing what you're doing and expect a different result. The press is not yielding results, not even draws.
-
Time to play ugly for a while. Do whatever it takes to get some points on the board and make it as hard as possible for opponents to break us down. For whatever reason, whether it is tiredness, confidence, injuries or a combination the press is not working. Let's try something different.
-
Chelsea will be wanting to finish in the top 4.
-
Yeah, Sheffield Utd, West Brom and Fulham.
-
Hope Giroud doesn't start for them or come on as a sub. He loves scoring against us.
-
Forster did very well at Celtic and has kept 4 clean sheets for us in 4 games.
