They had other good chances and on another day that could easily have been 3 or 4 nil. Madison had two good chances and Iheanacho had a shot blocked and there were other half chances. We created nothing.
-
We didn't have a single effort on target in a game as important as the semi-final of the FA Cup. The fact that Leicester didn't dominate us is not relevant - they scored a goal and we had zero attempts on target. If you're happy with that then fine but I suspect you are on your own. That was a gutless display.
-
The kit man has the easiest job, he won't even have to turn the machine on after that because there'll be no blood, sweat, tears or dirt on the shorts and shirts.
-
Gutless. Never turned up, took absolutely zero risk and were just content to make sure we didn't take a hammering. I'd rather we'd lost 2 or 3 nil and had some efforts on goal than that sterile shit. Fuming at that pathetic display in a semi-final of the FA Cup.
-
That was a totally negative first half from us. We are afraid to move the ball forward quickly and would rather dwell on it, go backwards, rinse and repeat. If that continues there is only going to be one winner. Time to see if Ralph has any tactical nous to change the direction of a match.
-
We need to start fast and make them feel vulnerable or it'll be one way traffic. Doesn't look as though we've picked a side to sit back so let's get on the front foot and give it a real good go.
-
Didn't expect Djenepo although not against his selection. He's a wild card and you never know what you are going to get. If it is one of his good days he'll cause Leicester plenty of problems. I think we're setting up to press Schmiechel when they pass back to him as a route to put them under pressure.
-
True enough but Fraser's gloves always look huge when he is playing.
-
Looks like a huge pair of goalie gloves hanging up so assume big Fraser is between the sticks.
-
Has the team been announced?
-
We need to press Schmeichel because his kicking can be very dodgy - we may get some joy there.
-
Thought Chelsea would win that when I saw no Mahrez or Walker in the City team. What a bore fest that was.
-
This is one of my major concerns. We are a very small side apart from central defence and goalkeeper. We need more strength, power and physically to compete and are easily bullied out of games. The mix is completely wrong and it is a wonder we do not concede more goals fro corners and set pieces.
-
To be honest the alarm bells were ringing pretty much from the first few minutes. Nobody could fail to see that we were wide open every time West Brom attacked and it was just a matter of how long it would take them to score the first goal. Early tactical changes were needed but they never came and WBA just rolled over us with ease.
-
That is fine if you hit it with power into the top corner or along the ground into the bottom corner because few goalkeepers would save it even if they have an inkling which side the kicker is going. JWP hit that at the perfect height for a routine save. Very poor technique.
-
That penalty from JWP was just so poor. Why is he hitting it at the perfect height to the goalkeeper's strong side? It was begging to be saved. Absolutely insane for a dead ball specialist.
-
When you play with 10 statues plus Armstrong it is hardly surprising that you make WBA look like Brazil at their best. Shocking display. Leicester must be licking their lips.
-
Embarrassing. We are wide open every time they attack. Rogers will be rubbing his hands.
-
Wouldn't want Harry Winks - he's a very average player who loves to pass backwards and sideways. Spurs fans don't rate him.
-
Che is improving and is a valuable first team player but I do wonder why he can't seem to head the ball or use his left foot. Perhaps he is working on these aspects of his game but there is little or no sign of improvement.
-
Agree, Minamino is a bit too weak for me and perhaps not suited to the rigours of the Premier League. I'd say he is a better finisher than Walcott but that's not difficult.
-
I think many people largely react to how they are feeling at a given time - hence when we go 2-0 down there is a lot of anger and frustration which is vented on the forum in real time.
-
Not sure how Theo could have got the ball to Redmond without lobbing it over defenders hence it was almost bound to reach him in the air - in the heat of the game it would have had to be pinpoint accurate to drop right at his favoured foot. It wasn't perfect but still very well executed.
-
The people/comments on all football forums are basically the same unless you include the likes of Man City who spend so much that their fans don't ever have much to complain about.

From a different angle I saw nobody was close to fouling De Bruyne as he shot. Don't get me wrong, I love watching him play. He is so brilliant he doesn't need to try to con the ref, try to get opponents sent off or whine for a free kick every time he loses the ball.
