  1. Minamino has slotted seamlessly into Walcott's role of giving the ball away every time he gets it.
  2. Well if we've tied the deal up before the end of the loan period we are mad. For one he could break his leg in the next match. For two we should be having as long a look at him as possible. He has blown hot and cold and yesterday he was blowing so cold there was a blizzard following him and a better manager than Ralph would have hooked him before half time. Overall I don't think he has shown enough to justify a contract.
  3. Whilst accepting we played ok today I find us a very hard watch if I'm honest. Everything seems so rushed and few of our lot are comfortable on the ball. We always look on the verge of giving the ball away or conceding a soft goal. I don't see any cohesion and we seem permanently muddled with few flowing moves and a distinct lack of movement off the ball or between the lines. I watched a chunk of the Leeds game today and the difference between them and us is night and day - all of them are comfortable on the ball and happy to receive it in the tightest of situations, they play it neat, crisp, quick and simple - easy on the eye and pretty much everything we are not. I accept they have better players than us but they look like they are playing a different sport to us.
  4. I find it very hard to believe that Davis is coaching Che Adams. If this is true then there is far more wrong at the club than I thought - to the best of my knowledge, even in his best season, Davis never managed a shot on target let alone a goal.
  5. Unfortunately we are so unsure at the back it means we are scared stiff to take risks and go forward in numbers. As others have said it seems we are more interested in keeping the score line half acceptable than in trying to win football matches. That is not a great place to be in.
  6. If only we could learn how to take throw-ins.
  7. Take off either centre back for Salisu and Walcott for Diallo and we might give ourselves a chance.
  8. Never mind missing a bit of lunch because of Ramadan, Salisu on hunger strike should still be the first name on the team sheet for this back four - shambles.
  9. Agree. He worked his socks off for the team, Against a strong line of defenders he managed to hold the ball for us when the odds were stacked against him. This was so important as it enabled us to get players forward in support and kept Leicester on their toes once we were down to ten. We can all agree that his finishing needs work but last night he showed his strength and skill as a battling centre forward and no little intelligence as well. Che played a crucial role in gaining a very good point.
  10. Very strange looking line-up and can't believe Salisu can't get into that feeble starting eleven. Go on Ralph, prove us all wrong - not holding my breath,
  11. All going wrong for Poch now with a man sent off for a diabolical tackle.
  12. Amazing! 2-1 to City now. Everything PSG did in the first half they have stopped doing although City have stepped up a gear after struggling for first 45 minutes.
  13. It's a treat to see City being outclassed for a change. Some of PSG's football is breathtaking and it is good to see a team that plays out from the back but know that they need to zip through the gears to move the ball forward at pace. City will do well to keep this at one nil if the second half continues in the same vein.
  14. It is only 3 points for a win even for Fulham.
  15. Glad to see how well Ralph's play book is working. Isn't the fact that we are now shite at every level reason enough to tear it up?
  16. I didn't say we were.
  17. Except Fulham have only got 5 games left.
  18. How many more feeble capitulations from winning positions and how many more points have to be tossed away before Ralph twigs there is a whole chapter missing from his beloved play book? It has become embarrassingly predictable now.
  19. So predictable. Sorry Ralph but your system rarely works. There is no point pressing for the first 45 minutes if that leaves nothing in the tank for the second.
  20. Would it make any difference to the result if they did?
  21. I think we crossed the half way line once in a recent game - can't recall which one though.
  22. Like the players I couldn't give a shit about this match. Roll on the official end of the season.
  23. Not sure it's hate. I think most of us are just bitterly disappointed and frustrated that, having anticipated and looked forward to such a massive game, the players just didn't turn up. It is not as though Leicester played out of their skins - they were pretty ordinary and yet, in over 90 minutes, we could neither ruffle them into errors nor show any guile ourselves that might have led to us at least testing Schmeichel. It all smacked of a total lack of self belief and courage - we just seemed so meek and timid and unwilling to attempt to impose ourselves on the game. As a team we were content to play the safe option or just pass responsibility on to a team mate even if he was in a worse position. We didn't attempt to get players in between their lines and made it very easy for them. These opportunities come along rarely and to totally bottle the game is hard to stomach.
  24. At no stage did we look as though we could come even close to winning that game of football.
  25. Where did it go and what was the final score?
