  1. Ralph may or may not be on borrowed time but you have to question how Ranieri is still in a job at Watford,
  2. I can' make it any clearer - I have said I believe he is our best striker so clearly I'd have started him in every league game. Maybe he is a bit raw but I like that about him and he won't learn younger and for me he will thrive and evolve far quicker by being given the responsibilty of leading the line than by being on the bench. It is just my opinion and I get that you don't agree with it.
  3. 100%
  4. You do know that I meant in the Premier league don't you?
  5. Out of interest, since you don't say, who do you think is our best striker?
  6. I tend to agree. Also, Leeds did the double over us last season so 3 points today (irrespective of their weakened line up) is a bonus.
  7. Yes, good to have a healthy debate. I agree that there is much more to come from Adam Armstrong. It is not as though he has missed a hatful of easy chances. I think Ralph needs to find a way of getting the midfield to provide him with better opportunities. His goal against Everton was superbly taken. Adams is great at the hold up play and is strong but nobody could say he is a clinical finisher. Also, he needs to be much better in the air where he provides zero threat. As I've said, I think Broja is the better all round player of the three because , from what I've seen,he is strong, quick, good in the air, can take opponents on and knows how to finish. If we were banging in goals I wouldn't care who was playing but clearly we are struggling to put the ball in the net and I thought Broja added something different today to help get the vital win.
  8. We'll have to disagree because I saw far more finesse than a smashed foot down the middle.
  9. On the contrary I wouldn't say I don't rate Armstrong or Adams. Both have their qualities and neither has been given much service. My gut feeling is that Broja is more what we need and has more to offer than either of them. As to the Sheffield Utd match, I thought he was no worse or better than anyone else in a lacklustre display in a game lacking any real quality,
  10. Adams would have smashed that chance straight at the keeper. It was not as easy a finish as you make out. Broja led the line well especially considering it was his first start at this level. He was a handful at corners which none of our other forwards are. He made a huge difference today and gave us a presence up front which clearly unsettled Leeds.
  11. The biggest bit of good news was that Ralph was finally forced to give Broja a try up front. He shouldn't have had to wait for Adams to get injured to give him his first start in the Prem.
  12. You don't say! Only because Adams is injured and we all know that Che, given exactly the same chance as Broja, would have smashed the ball straight at the keeper.
  13. Plus he at last woke up to the fact that Broja is clearly the best striker at the club.
  14. How shit must Broja be in training for Ralph not to see how good a striker he is? I mean it's bloody obvious to anyone watching today that he's a class above anyone else we've got. Still, Ralph and plenty of others claim he is best as an impact sub. I must see a different game,
  15. Why is that not a red card?
  16. Broja is only good off the bench. He's an impact sub.
  17. You're welcome.
  18. Broja just had Albania's only shot on target...maybe the manager should have started him.
  19. Funny!
  20. Two goals for Elyounoussi today.
  21. Semmens was doing ok until he came out with the ridiculous comment that one day the women's game may be as big if not bigger than the men's.
  22. Agree and that's another good reason why he should start against Leeds.
  23. Well, we do need a player who can create chances and he got an assist last night.
  24. How do you know he is better as an impact sub? He tends to be used more from the bench but that doesn't prove he can't do a job for 90 minutes. If I was a betting man I'd wager a few quid on Broja finishing the season as our top scorer - that's always assuming Ralph gives him enough game time of course but currently he seems very reluctant to use him. Ralph will presumably claim he doesn't show enough in training - that'll be the same manager who saw enough of Walcott to put him in the team against Chelsea when, he contributed as little as many suspected and had to be hooked at half time.
  25. This thread needs a bump after Broja scored another brilliant goal last night.
