What a bunch of gutless wankers. Game management right out the window and so predictable. This team is so soft. JWP should be shot!
-
Right, one nil up at half time. Lock the players in the dressing room with Ralph outside.
-
Wonder if Ralph will be tempted to give Theo a start. Seems he is quite keen not to leave squad players on the bench for too long at a time (apart from FF of course).
-
Whilst not calling for Ralph to be sacked I doubt many other clubs would have afforded him the support our board has up to now given that he's presided over two horrendous defeats by 9-0. Hard to argue with that.
-
Adams is very poor at heading the ball.
-
Very much doubt his new contract will be for less money. Football clubs seem to forget they are businesses and waste money like confetti. At his age and skills level he should expect a fairly substantial drop in salary. Same as the poor decision to offer Walcott a contract on big money. You'd think the accountants would put their foot down and stop all this overspending with no justification.

Agree that Bednarek was careless and gave away a corner when he should have been belting it out to the side for a throw. He shares a portion of the blame for that soft goal by Evans. These are the fine margins when, with more concentration and less panic, danger is averted at least cost. I get that, in the heat of the moment, mistakes are made and clearly we can't afford the quality defenders who would have no problem coolly knocking that ball out for a throw-in rather than hurriedly mishitting it behind for a costly corner.

It's a well debated point. We are very often the better team in the first half of games so maybe Ralph thinks, no need to change anything whereas, his opposing manager has to try something different tactically or bring on a sub. This is the way it goes and it generally results in us losing our ascendancy. Not sure what the answer is. Maybe Ralph needs to anticipate opposition changes and get the first punch in by changing our tactics or making a sub at half time. Yesterday there was a case for replacing Armstrong with Broja which may have given Leicester more to think about. I guess for Ralph he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
-
Broja looked far more of a handful than Armstrong tonight. Caused Leicester plenty of problems with his pace, power and skill. Armstrong does everything at 100mph which unfortunately means when he goes to check back he is going so fast he always loses his balance. I'm prepared to give him a chance and he has scored two cracking goals but he needs to offer more than he is at present. Time to give Broja a run in the side.

You are obviously a big fan of KWP - so am I. However, you don't mention that he made two catastrophic errors which could and should have gifted Leicester all 3 points. The through ball for Vardy was the best offensive pass of the game.
-
Ralph should chuck a curved ball at Leicester and bring Broja on for Armstrong at half time. Give them something else to think about. Be pre-emptive.
-
Would have liked to see Broja up front. Think he'd give Evans more to worry about.
-
Considering how poor Norwich were tonight there seems every likelihood of them going on a winless run. Couldn't string two passes together against 10 men Newcastle who aren't exactly much good themselves. Looked like two very probable relegation candidates on that showing.
-
Christ on a bike...how the feck did we lose to this Norwich side? They are abysmal. In fact, how did we allow them to create two chances let alone score two goals?
-
Scoring goals continues to be a major problem for us so this feels like it's going to be more of the same in which case we'll probably lose. Find our shooting boots and the win is there for us but our strikers don't fill me with optimism. Every match it feels like we're all hoping this is the one where we convert our chances but it just never happens. Would love Wednesday to be the night it all clicks into place up front. Still think Broja has a huge part to play in solving the goal scoring enigma.

Genius. Unfortunately Ralph refuses to see that Tino is actually quite limited defensively and is a ball watcher, never a good thing for a defender. He allowed Jota the tap in by completely failing to see what was happening around him. He'd be better in an advanced position ahead of KWP where his lack of defensive awareness would be less of an issue.
-
Not all together sure how FF can earn his chance by sitting on the bench every week.
-
I think the fact that our mini run was brought to an abrupt end by a poor Norwich side tempers any optimism many of us might have had going into this fixture. If we'd extended the unbeaten run then we might have been prepared to dream but the defeat to Norwich leaves us expecting the inevitable routine victory for Liverpool. In Ralph's shoes I'd be tempted to try something different. He could opt to give Forster a chance and hope that he produces an inspired display where everything hits him, flies wide or is kept out by worldie saves. You do see these type of performances. Up front he could try Broja as the spearhead with Adams just behind him in support. Broja has pace and power which could trouble the Liverpool defence and Che is strong in holding the ball. I'm not expecting Ralph to surprise me and he'll likely retain McCarthy and stick with Che and Armstrong. On a separate note what is it with Stuart Armstrong? He was fit for the two Scotland games but, as soon as a league game comes along, he's got some mystery injury again. Got a feeling there is more to this than we're being told.
-
That's a worrying thing for the manager to admit.
-
No need to feel sorry for him. He's stealing a fecking fortune from our club and we don't have a pot to piss in. Any symapthy should be towards us from him.
-
Haven't heard this. Where did you get the info stating that Broja has an attitude problem, turns up late and doesn't like hard work? I know there was some pretty vague stuff earlier in the season but it didn't seem to amount to much other than Chinese whispers. I remember Ralph stating that he'd told him he had to work harder but that could be construed in different ways. Maybe he just told him to work harder and he'd get his chance. Don't think he'd have got any games if Ralph thought he was a lazy individual with an attitude problem and a habit of turning up late. Be interested to hear/see any real evidence to support your claims.
-
So was Che Adams. Think he'll give them more problems than Gilmour will give us.
-
Thought they'd switched to slow-mo.

Great goal by Che. I think Ally McCoist wants to have his babies.
