Said weeks ago that Howe would be very aware of the talents of Salisu. Hope they don't offer him really silly money on the quiet to unsettle him and then try to get him for a lower transfer fee than he is worth. We all know how football works.

The 'moron' made a twat of himself. Did he really expect us to play an open game and go toe to toe with City? If that is the kind of football he wants to see (and don't we all) the only way you are going to get it is if transfer fees and wage structures are made the same for every club with a maximum ceiling all can afford. It's never going to happen of course.

Bunch of twats. They obviously don't remember when Citeh were shite before the Arab money came in and bought them success. We gave them plenty of pastings at the Dell and at Maine Road back in the day. Remember giving them the run around and their fans singing 'what the f**k is going on.' They have become so arrogant and for the old guy to say he hates seeing teams play like us was so condescending - without all that Arab money we'd still be beating them plenty of times but he failed to mention that.

Agree and also use the money from the sale wisely and don't waste it on rubbish as we've done in the past.

He's learned very quickly that this is a tough league where you are going to take some hard knocks but you have to stand up and be counted. in his early games he tended to be a bit soft and he notably got bullied by Calvert-Lewin. Now he's a beast of a defender with bags of skill. Let's enjoy him because he'll already be on the radar of the big boys but at least we''l turn a good profit on him.

Thinking back, although City obviously dominated possession, we carved out some decent chances - Bednarek had a good header saved from a corner, Diallo made space for a shot which he could have done better with, Broja hit the post with a header, Broja forced a last ditch block just after half time and he also had two close offside calls in the first half, one where he put the ball in the net and another where there was a penalty shout. Fine margins and, on another day we might have bagged more than KWP's excellent goal. Ok, they had chances too so I think a draw was a fair result overall.

Another great performance from Broja. Not many strikers will give the City centre backs that much trouble. They knew they'd been in a game today and had to be on their toes for the whole 90 minutes.

Brave, strong, skilled, intelligent and committed performance from Salisu today. I don't think VVD at his best could eclipse that. He was outstanding at the heart of our defence whilst City were throwing everything at us.

Agree, Che put in a tremendous shift. Him and Broja are a good partnership.

Thought it looked as though City had done their homework on our high line for their goal and we should have been more switched on. They overloaded the left side and their three biggest players held back and made their runs late knowing they'd be onside. We need to watch that because other sides may try the same after seeing that.

Unbeaten against City this season and restricted them to one goal. I'll take that all day. Great performance for the whole game and superb goal by KWP. Broja caused them plenty of problems particularly in the first half. Wouldn't fault anyone after that and the effort we put in. Laporte just made the excuse that St Marys is a small pitch - come on man, how much is your squad worth. You have to be better than making poor excuses like that - take it on the chin.

I'd be fuming with John Moss if that was us. Ok, Leicester were stupid but he should have blown after Spurs equaliser or as soon as Leicester kicked off.

Agree and this was my concern when we signed him. Maybe he can be coached to improve his defensive duties because he is certainly excellent on the ball and can pick a good pass.

But why not swap KWP for a struggling Tella at half time? Like others I am not seeing any signs that Tella is going to be good enough at this level but hope he proves me wrong.

Yes, some of this is on Ralph I'm afraid. Took off Diallo when he should have taken of Tella and brought on KWP. That's before the argument that KWP should have started in the first place. Wolves make few mistakes - we made lots today and were very careless with the ball. Great goal from JWP but you just knew Traore would score against us. We weren't good enough today but I think Ralph was partly to blame.
