Presumably that was done in the privacy of the dressing room 🙂

Felt sorry for the lad. He was given a start but in a team so weak that he had little opportunity to show what he can do and got hooked at half time before the better players came on. Wouldn't judge him on today and don't think Ralph did him any favours. You might say it's up to him to shine but he got zero service.
-
Nobody is disputing who won. Even in victory it is sensible to consider team selection and performance - those two things were poor today but, if people think there's a free pass available because we won then that's their choice.
-
Hope he was joking or I'll really start to question his sanity. Valery gave me kittens every time he was anywhere near the ball.
-
If it was only Theo, Armstrong and Long as changes we might have got away with it and they'd have had more chance to show their merits in a stronger side. As it was nobody had much chance to shine with that starting line up. It was just asking for trouble and weakened us all over the pitch.
-
Starting that back 4 was a recipe for disaster. Add in that Theo is probably finished at this level plus Long and Adam Armstrong up front and I think that was weakening the side far too much. We got home thanks to a worldie from Stuart Armstrong and a deflected shot from KWP plus some smart saves from Willie. We could have had no complaints if Coventry had won today.
-
Which only goes to make his team selection today even more baffling. Play strong FA Cup line-ups last season when we were not in as strong a league position as we are now. Work that out.
-
And players that we probably hope not to see again in an even longer while. Pick the nucleus of your best players not that shit show.
-
Of course it's his fault. That starting eleven looked crap on paper and even worse on the pitch and plenty of people predicted we'd struggle which proved to be the case.
-
There is weak and then there is piss poor - Ralph opted for the latter.
-
The general opinion seems to be that Ralph made that win far harder than it needed to be.
-
We are through by the skin of our teeth which is the main thing. However, Ralph got that completely wrong and, instead of what should have been a comfortable afternoon against a poor side, we've had to slog through an extra 30 minutes with players having to risk injury in order to rescue the game. It needn't and shouldn't have been that way. Coventry are not great but Ralph decided to field a side that was not even the equal of theirs and boy did it show. I'd hope it's a lesson learned but we know Ralph has this stubborn streak in him when he can't resist pressing the self destruct button. He got away with it today but that game could have gone either way. A strong starting line up and we'd have breezed through that and been able to conserve energy. Stuart Armstrong hit a worldie when we didn't look like we had a clue how to break them down and that saved the boss a bigger embarrassment.
-
We've turned a 90 minute game that starts at 0-0 into a 45 minute game in which we start one down. Whichever way you cut it that's not bright.
-
Seen these games many times. You pick a line up that hands the game to the opposition then have to make whole sale changes and chase the feck out of it. It rarely ends well.
-
Can anyone seriously say they did not fear this when seeing that Ralph decided to start with a virtual reserve side? He has disrespected Coventry and our fans and now it will be very tough to get back into this even if he bring some big guns on at half time. We'll end up having had to work harder than if he'd gone for it from the start and the psychological damage a defeat could do is anybody's guess. You've got this horribly wrong Ralph and now it's your job to redeem yourself.
-
Currently they have better players than ours on the pitch. Meanwhile, all our talent sits on the bench and watches as we make Coventry look like Man City on steroids. Come on Ralph, we've all seen enough.
-
This is so painful to watch. We needed the early goal to quiten their fans. Instead Ralph thinks it's a great idea to play this shit eleven and we go a goal down so all you can hear is their fans. Need changes before half time. s.
-
Gonna be tough now they have their tails up backed by a strong support against our severely weakened side. Over to you Ralph.
-
And there you have it!
-
Think we've evened this game out far more than we needed to but hope Ralph proves me wrong.
-
I'd say 7 of our normal starters have been left on the bench which is a substantial gamble. We should still win but it increases Coventry's chances and will give them a big boost.
-
2 week break, needed to put out a stronger line up than that to get players back up to speed for midweek match. This could backfire but I hope not as I think we have a reasonable chance in the FA Cup with our strongest team. Would have preferred a strong staring eleven, get the game won then make subs but let's see.
-
After all those games were cancelled due to 'covid' the winter break should have been cancelled and as many games as possible rearranged. Most teams have already had a break due to fixtures being postponed for dubious reasons. Newcastle must be loving the huge advantage they have been given over their relegation rivals.
-
He looks to be that rare combination in that he's a big unit with a deft touch. Don't think he'll get bullied.

Get Spurs to pay half his wages and it's a goer. After all, Theo is reported to be on 50k a week.
