I totally get that and so am I. The likes of Stephens and Valery stepped up to the plate and I commend them for that. However, quarter finals don't come round too often so I want to see us pick our best eleven and go for it. I seriously believe our best eleven has a chance of winning the FA Cup - we are a really good side. Let's not be left thinking what might have been..

Agree. The quarter finals is the business end so no room for sentiment or resting players. Go with the best available and have a right go because we can beat anyone on our day but not with even one single weak link. It's only fair on the players as this may be their best chance of winning something so don't take that away by being sentimental Ralph.

I must beg to differ as I think Valery is very much a centre back. He's played there a few times now and generally looked very accomplished. It's when he plays as a full back that he turns into a liability.

Yes, I wonder if they've stepped up shooting practice in training. Redmond also struck a good one that the keeper did well to scramble round the post.

Perraud has got a sledgehammer of a left foot and regularly hits the target. Think he'll be good for a few goals over a season. he's been very unlucky with two that smashed against the woodwork. As someone else said, it would be interesting to see him try a few free kicks on the right where JWP tends to struggle.

Yeah, thought AA looked lively tonight and did a lot of good work. Just wish he'd have taken that shot on in the first half instead of trying to find Smallbone. Lots still to come from AA I reckon and he's good to have in the squad.

He did play a part with the challenge for the ball which dropped to Broja and the rest is history. That is where Broja is at his most dangerous and he'll score a lot of those type goals. Seen him do it a fair few times now.

Special mention for Stephens and Valery who were superb tonight against Antonio and Bowen.

Two of them won't come up against each other - the hot balls will make certain of that.
