For the love of God, can we all learn how to spell O’Riley correctly
-
Twitter didn’t start until 2006!

Should we give McCarthy a new contract. His performances since coming back into the team suggest that we should. Lumley obviously not trusted and the jury still out on Baz. do we go out and buy, if so who?
-
Calum Chambers available. Would suit us as a backup CB
-
Must be cover for someone leaving, but who is it? From the looks at his “show reel” on You Tube my guess would be Stu.
-
Anyone got a decent stream
-
I think this is exactly what is happening. Stephens or Bree will play full back and we’ll bring in a right sided midfield player to replace KWP
-
Please let’s not add this to every chant. We should have realised a long time ago that the skates are now totally irrelevant to us as they languish in the lower leagues.
-
What I like is that we’re now a nasty team to play against. Too often in the past we’ve been bullied by teams, now we have a bit of a spiteful side to our game.
-
How is it obvious?

It is on iPlayer. Change your setting to Wales and you’ll find it on BBC one

What a brilliant article.

Ralph explained in his press conference that Stu has a calf problem and that it will be 2 or 3 weeks until he is ready to return. He also said that we now have players that can cover his absence.
-
If we pay them off we would have to pay the full value of their remaining contract plus any loyalty bonuses due when the contracts end. We would then have to pay, transfer fee, signing on fees, agents fees etc to get a replacement in. This would make your suggestion unviable. the only suitable option would be to arrange a transfer and looking at their quality and wages this is unlikely to happen.

Just spoken to an Everton fan who says that the club has warned of ticket chaos before the game . 17000 digital season tickets having been issued and they are not sure if their systems will work. Stewards will also be carrying out spot checks to see if people are fully vaccinated and have masks to wear in the walkways in the stands. Get there early guys and girls.🤨

I think it was Liverpool who were mocked for having a throw in coach. I wish we could appoint one, ours are painful to watch.

Staring line up against Everton Forster KWP. Bednarek Salisu Perraud Romeu Diallo Tella S Armstrong Adams Walcott
-
Tella’s pace will frighten a lot of teams. Not sure if he’ll get into the starting 11 or be used as an impact sub.

Taking into account what we’ve seen in pre season and the players we’ve brought and are still bringing in I think we’ll see a different style of play this season. I think that our pass count will be down and that our attack will be much more direct. Not long ball but getting the ball forward much quicker with fewer passes across the back four. To be honest I’m not sure how JWP will fit into this as I feel that he slows the play down whereas when Diallo gets the ball his immediate thought is to get the ball forward.
-
FFS it’s a pre season friendly and Ralph is ensuring that as many of our first team squad as possible are getting a full 90 minutes into their legs. JWP is carrying a knee injury so it makes sense to keep him out of the firing line and Vesty won’t be anywhere near full match fitness. why risk all of our strongest line up in a friendly that will almost certainly be competitive.
-
He’s done. Why don’t we just shut down this thread and move on!
-
Good business by the club as long as the money is invested well. Although he’s a proven goal scorer I’ve always felt that Danny’s lack of real pace has hindered our attacking options.
-
I feel that in pre season we’ve been getting the ball forward much more quickly than previously. If JWP goes I think we’ll all be surprised at how good a player Diallo is when he gets a run of games.
