Being a Southampton is pretty much an awful, woeful hateful experience, it breeds resentment and vitriol as easily as mushrooms grow in the dark, being a medium sized club is hard enough in having to market a method that effectively means you're a whore and have to constantly sell players yet say to the fans it's a "the Southampton way" way of doing things, this is made an awful lot more difficult when you have owners who quite frankly are trying in some perverse form of BDSM to rival the Venkys of Blackburn.

I just sit and laugh at how poor we are, it's actually a laugh looking at how bad our defending and effort is, we're looking at grifters and clowns, SR are going to dry ****** us also, we're in for a very bad 5/10 years.

If so, I do hope Ankersen is present to talk about his vision and aspirations like he did 2 years ago, SR have run this club into the ground with some of the worst signings over their tenure in premier league history, I'd love him to try to explain Ross Stewart because quite frankly even Hawking if he were alive would struggle to square that.

Southampton FC has some of the most passive nice fans from any league, we always have been so, no northern team would accept this crap, Everton and Leeds spring to mind, they'd be going mental and steaming onto the pitch, we deserve far far better but we have to show our dissatisfaction. The Dell crowd wouldn't have had this and would have been protesting since September.

My fear is if we lose this Martin can cry off being sacked to a poor decision. Even if we win 15-1 he needs to go.

This is genuinely the worst Saints team I've seen in my lifetime and we've been blessed with some absolute crap over the years, its almost worth applauding how terrible we've become, the club deserve this, the fans and their apathy deserve this (would a northern club allow this?) and if there is any justice in this world Russel Martin shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a football pitch again, the man is worse then Branfoot, Gray or Wotte, its laughable he wasn't sacked at the start of October but we somehow felt loyal to him for him getting us promoted, he made hard work of that. A chancer who loves his hair and teeth more than the game.

I didn't want him at the start of the season, we were lucky to get promoted under him last season, that was the 3rd best squad in the championship and we made it incredibly hard for ourselves and that was down to him and his ego. Why do we employ such useless egotistical charlatans, this means to me or shows we've a problem at the club that runs far far deeper than this chancer. I'd take Ian Branfoot over this total and utter clown.

The man is so clearly out of his depth it's frankly embarrassing, he is Nathan Jones and Ian Branfoot rolled into one, that team has players who should be performing better than they are doing currently but the tactics of playing from the back defies intelligence, we have poor defenders even at the best of times but to set them up to fail is either cruel or not knowing the actual teams quality. This pound shop Pep figuratively is a dead man walking.

And that inbred Martin had the audacity to start off the season stating scar tissue, Jesus wept, where do we find such woke bellends.

Martin needs to go.

Finances will dictate we'll have a far far weaker team next year, he had one shot and if he blows it he should walk.

I can't wait to hear the clowns explanation for this, no way are we going up via the plays offs, no way, we're turgid, akin to Puel's reign.

Maybe we're seeing different things, his spatial awareness and positional play make him appear exceedingly arrogant or totally clueless, the number of times he makes a mistake and turns to point the finger at someone else, a charlatan.

With Bazunu, Stephens and Bednarek playing what chance do we have over the season? None at all. Terrible footballers.

Sack Martin, even with utter utter crap 2/3 players that squad shouldn't be where it is, Bree, Bednarek, Stephens, Bazunu aren't anywhere near good enough.

But Forster and Davis were good at some point, Bazunu has never been good nor will he ever, he is well out of his depth.

Gavin Bazunu will cost us any chance of promotion either automatically or via the play offs, he is absolutely dire, so bad in fact I can not think of a worse Southampton goalkeeper in my lifetime.

They don't have the skill or guile to get behind and cross from the line, its predictable, turgid and boring and simply put why are we so so shit?

Cheap gambles, no spirit, couldn't care less about the club, football has changed over the last 25 years and its changed for the worse.

Admit defeat, we've a terrible defence and a woeful cheap yes man manager.

If you mean Bazunu he's not going anywhere. He's first choice whether we like it or not... and who are the other options Swallow your pride, accept you're wrong and bring in Kasper Schmeichel for the interim.

If Gavin Bazunu is Russell Martin's hill to die on he'll be gone long before Christmas.

They bought well, have a different style (one I'd like to see) of powerful front foot attacking as opposed to crab like stat passing, lower quality? We're selling our best players and retaining our worst, Bazunu, Stephens, Bednarek etc.

Who in the club thinks Bednarek, Stephens and Bazunu are good enough even for this level is frankly far more worrying than the standard of players themselves. Truly awful players who make Danny Fox seem like Pele.

If anyone thinks Bednerek and Stephens are good enough even for this league they're solely mistaken, and the goalkeeper? What does the club see that the fans haven't seen for years, the centrebacks and goalkeepers have been our weakest link for 3 seasons, why hasn't this been addressed?
