  1. The fact it has taken Juric this many games to realise just shows what another shit appointment he has been. Well done SR 👏🏼

    Ivan Juric

Will be happy to see the back of Juric but not convinced that Rohl is the answer. That being said, our recruitment in the summer and what our team looks like come the start of the season is as equally important as the man in the dugout
  3. I had no issue with RMs limited managerial record and was actually happy with his appointment as Wilcox had a clear plan on how we should play and RM fitted the bill. But that inexperience (and of couse his stubborness) was his undoing, therefore I'd be keen that we appoint a manager with a bit more success/experience than Rohl. We need somebody who can get us promoted but also play a style of football sustainable in the PL
  4. Exactly. Wednesday will likely finish 13th-15th. The whole argument that hes turned them around is wearing thin. Hes steadied them, but thats all. RM got slated because he had achieved nothing when we appointed him, yet some are advocating that we do the same again. I doubt we'd have as much interest but for him previously being Ralph's assistant
  5. As much as we would like to, we dont require a mass clearout this summer as we have a core of players who've got us promoted before and we can rely on some of them again. We need to look at it as a complete restructure over two summer windows and put ourselves in a better place to compete back in the PL. Realistically we're definitely not holding onto Ramsdale and Dibling as they'll get us 60 million plus between them. Plus KWP is guaranteed to leave. If we can, I would sell Sulemana, Onuachu, ABK, Bednarek, BBD and Smalbone as they may get us some value (maybe another 40 million) I would clear out the likes of McCarthy, Bree, Manning, Stephens, Fraser and Stewart by any means necessary. That would leave a core of Bazunu (as backup), THB, Edwards, Wood, Welington, Sugawara, Downes, Aribo, Fernandes (🤞🏼), Edozie, Archer and Armstrong. Look at a few of the Goztepe players (Juan and Matsuki) and add 6/7 new signings to strengthen our starting GK, DM, AM and CF options. I'd get us promoted with a record points total and then take the vacant Brighton job in the summer before we're back in the PL 😂
  6. Who said I was pissed at him. Just pointing out that I would be surprised to see him play much in our run in
  7. That'll be KWP done for the season. Not want to risk his summer move and big pay day
  8. Whens the next fan engagement event? Had no problem doing them last season when things were much rosier. Alot of grovelling and explaining needed
  9. Do recall similar being said at the end of the 22/23 season and we bounced back ok. Yes, this is much, much worse, but get a decent manager in (big ask for SR) and we'll be grand. Couldnt care less if most of the players dont recover, because if we're serious about competing at PL level, quite alot of them shitebags will be gone in the summer and not a moment too soon
  10. He wont be in charge next season so you're wasting your time
  11. Just fold the club. Would do us all a world of good
  12. Some of them are on 60/70/80k a week. I'd like to think that they're fighting fs
  13. Stop taking the piss
  14. We're really scraping the barrel when it comes to the defence (as we are with the whole team), but would still rather see actual CBs playing at CB instead of fucking James Bree and Joe Aribo. Hopefully with Juric's comments he realises he needs to drop the 3 at the back bullshit. Unlikely though. Ramsdale KWP Stephens ABK Welington Dibling Downes Fernandes Gronbaek Sulemana Onuachu
  15. Second best 😂😂😂 I suggest you go watch the game again. Leeds had a 0.56xG for all you hipsters that love those stats. In other words McCarthy could have got a deck chair out and enjoyed the May sunshine

    Ivan Juric

The cheek of him to throw in the 19 clean sheets from last season comment. Nobody cares, you're in a different league with a different team in different circumstances. Since hes come in we've conceded 25 in 9 PL games - nearly 3 per game and god knows what it'll be if he lasts the season. In fact, without Ramsdale, who knows what the numbers would look like. The players may not be be good enough to play his system, but this is a guy who prides himself on organisation and defensive solidity. Finding a quick fix to make us more solid is what I would have been hoping for. We could have then backed him in the summer with transfers to suit his system. But we're so far off being a competitive side and he just looks lost.

Which given their results since that game, is more of a reflection of what a shambles United are at the moment. We still collapsed once they put us under pressure

    Cheers for your input Ivan
  19. Their only real shot of the game when they were in desperation mode in the last few minutes? McCarthy had barely anything to do, which says it all really because you might want to test a keeper of that standard. And we breezed past a stubborn WBA side when most thought we'd come unstuck. Leicester strolled the Championship last year but will be coming back down with us, so it really doesnt matter how you get promoted if your recruitment/performances when you get to the PL arent up to the standard required
  20. Still got promoted and still breezed through the playoffs no matter how much you want to downplay it. Doubt Juric would've got us promoted, but we'll never know
  21. Even if we had've sacked RM 4-6 weeks earlier, we were still going to bring in Juric given how he was seriously considered before and the timing of his sacking by Roma. We probably would've still been on the same amount of points we're on now. We've had zero uplift from Juric, apart from the first half against WHU. You can point the finger at RM, but Juric has been a disaster in his own right trying to implememt a mad system while we're in the middle of a relegation fight. But no matter who is in charge, it also highlights how poor the summer recruitment was. The club had given up before the January window (hence the lack of business) which must be a PL first
  22. 100% this, hopefully its already dawned on Dragan and Spors is an appointment in the right direction. The managerial appointment in the summer is crucial for how the next 2-3 years looks
  23. Genuine question - is there any point in the fans turning up to the next home game? These players, manager and owners do not deserve the support for the rest of the season. A 5-10k attendance wont matter to the owners financially, but it will at least send a message that we've enough - not just of Juric but the whole setup at the club. Even during Nate Jones' time here there were slim hopes the team could get a result....this team doesnt look like getting anything the rest of the season
  24. Only this club could take you from loving football to hating it in a matter of months. Bravo SR et al
