  1. He looked as nervous as hell. The Spurs back four are makeshift as it is with injuries. Having old Butterfingers behind you can't be helping.
  2. Please no. Just when the team are starting to actually show signs of playing we don't want BBD messing it up. Anyway, it's still panto season. He's busy playing the back end of a cow.
  3. He was a breath of fresh air today and gave the team another dimension. However, to be superb he really needs to score from some of the chances he had. He works hard on the pitch but his goal scoring isn't on a par with that. Hopefully it changes soon. We need someone who can score.

I Personally, I don't want BBD in a Saints shirt ever again. One of the biggest wastes of money we have ever signed and there's a long list.
  5. Digressing a bit. I would love an Elon Musk type businessman to carry out a thorough assessment of the NHS from top to bottom. I worked for them for 17 years and the waste of money is appalling. We don't need to keep throwing money at it but we do need to make sure the NHS gets full value for the money it spends. Billions could be saved if this was done.

When I saw him in the stands, I thought Rasmus had brought his Granddad to watch the game. He didn't inspire me, but fair do's, give him a chance. He may turn out to be this dynamic, super fit, footballing genius, heavily disguised as a old has been.
  7. Glad to see Ramsdale back and kicking it down the pitch. Downes got a touch on the ball from what I could see. Harsh yellow.
  8. Spot on! Pep has a patronising tone when 'complimenting' the little managers. RM will have fallen for it. Pep's a bit like Manuel from Fawlty Towers at the moment. "I know nothing, I'm from Barcelona".
  9. You got the right result. 1 win in 12. Keep it up City!!!

I was getting hopeful here until you mentioned 'Rasmus likes'. 😟
  11. I like watching those 2 as pundits. No holds barred.
  12. I think Man City's recent slump is an enjoyment to many. It's surely no coincidence that since we played them and RS had a cosy chat with his superhero that City have fallen off a cliff. Teams like City will always lose a game here and there but this run of defeats is something new for them. He has had it easier than many managers with the huge amount of money at his disposal to buy the very best. This will show whether Pep is a great manager or not. And yes, come on Villa!
  13. You can take Fraser Forster out of Southampton but you can't take Southampton out of Fraser Forster. A decent goalie must be top of Ange Postecoglu's shopping list.
  14. A glimmer of hope for better times ahead, providing SR do a proper job this time. Shame Mike Dean's best mate was the ref.
  15. We won't keep Dibling for long and if the next manager isn't an improvement on RM then he needs to go somewhere with a decent manager. He deserves nothing less.
  16. As much as I want a new manager, I also want new owners. Rasmus Ankersen is a certifiable idiot with his 'If it ain't broke, consider breaking it' claptrap. The managerial appointments SR have made since Ralph went have been pathetic and made us into a laughing stock that we can keep getting it so wrong, over and over again. Nathan (Legend in his own mind) Jones, Reuben Selles who spent more time choosing his roll-neck sweaters and suits for match days than he ever did on the team selection and Russell Martin who doggedly stuck to his invincible gameplan while everything around him went to pot. I hope for the best but expect the worst when SR have a say in anything.
  17. Personally I want a manager who knows the Premier League inside out. That's what we haven't had with any of SR's appointments. Things don't look good, I will grant you, but I for one am trying to think positive and hope that an experienced manager may just save us.
  18. At least he has PL experience. SR's trio of clowns had none and it showed.
  19. SR will love the sound of him. 😂
  20. No way will Tyler Dibling be here for life. With the exception of Matt Le Tissier, how many talented footballers have played their entire career at Southampton? We have had some great players wear our shirt but we are a stepping stone club for them to go on to bigger and better clubs with the opportunity for them to progress and win trophies. After watching last night's horror show I really hoped Dibling would go in the January window. He doesn't deserve to be working under a one-dimensional manager like RM. Now SR have finally pulled the plug, hopefully we can keep Dibling until the end of the season at least. If we get relegated, he no way deserves to play Championship football but if we manage to survive in the Prem he may give us another season, but here for life? No way!
  21. I really feel for Tyler Dibling. He was our best player tonight but then he was surrounded by utter crap. That lad deserves so much better. He needs to learn his trade from a decent manager and in no way is that RM.
  22. He says the fans who stayed were amazing yet did not have the courtesy or the bravery (his favourite word) to walk over to those fans and thank them for sticking it out. Just ran down the tunnel like a coward.
  23. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Gary O'Neil has gone. I didn't like his post-match comments. Says they are the hardest team he has ever worked with and are unable to grasp the basics. If that's how he feels then talk to them about it but I can't see it does any good rubbishing them publicly.
  24. Would a 0-0 bore draw see them both gone? This week's special offer. 2 managers for the price of one. I am taking grandchildren to the pantomime tomorrow afternoon so when I get out from there I can see how the other pantomime at St. Mary's has gone.
  25. Whatever it is, it's too much.
