People need to cast their minds back to the relegation season and the reports of dressing room unrest. It came out there was a French speaking clique and that the dressing room was split. So I agree that one thing is for sure this seasons squad will have a togetherness which alone can be invaluable. If we can get a GK, midfielder and attacker we will be much better placed to compete.

1. Why does Bazunu have such a low save percentage and are the club actively trying to develop his ability to save low shots particularly to his left side? 2. Does the continuous giving away of chances from playing out across the back notably stemming from McCarthy cause you concern? 3. £20-25m is the standard rate for players nowadays so can the club compete with other clubs at this price range or are we fishing in the shallow end? 4. Were the club disappointed with the attendance for Getafe game? Is there scope to offer cheaper tickets in the future in order to try and attract the next generation of fans?

Unless we have made progress with MOR this is a blow to our transfer plans although I actually think both types of players needed. Shea Charles not involved today maybe a sign things have progressed 🤞

Sounds like we need to sell for the dominoes to start to fall. Selling KWP, ABK, TP and Sulemanna would raise around £60m id assume so that would more or less fund MOR and Carvalho.

Jurys out on Smallbone and Aribo at this level and if they aren't up to scratch we need to have able alternatives so MOR is the ideal signing imo. Carvalho would play a more attacking role. I definitely wouldn't turn my nose up at him either as I reckon he will have far more end product than Edozie and Sulemanna. I do agree we need able deputy for downes who can add some steel. Charles isn't that guy. Downes could play as a #8 as well I reckon as he offers something going forward as well.

Yeah but of a rip off given kids sizes go up to 14-15 but realistically will fit only up to 11/12 year olds max really.

Not sure on adult true to size status but be careful when ordering kids shirts online because my lad is very average size for his age (just turned 10) and he would need the 13-14 age shirt. They don't sell 12-13 age but the 11-12 wouldn't fit for very long at all.

Play him as a #8 and he's decent. Play him as a #6 and he's awful which is why I'd like a proper back up for downes. Charles isn't the answer.

I see Bordeaux have just been administratively relegated to the third tier. Liverpool owners pulled out of takeover talks last week. Be interesting to see how there players react against us tomorrow given they no longer have professional league status.

Saints owe money to other clubs still on the players we are looking to ship out i.e. tall Paul, ABK but if we sold them both as well as Mara and Sulemanna that would recoup around £45m I reckon so I'd like to think there was enough in the kitty to get CM and a striker at least

Atalanta could be used by agents to spur other clubs into bidding. Fab is used by agents and clubs all the time help steer the market. I'm not concerned about Atalanta. If it is genuinely interest and players opts for them so be it but I suspect MOR would prefer move to PL over Serie A

Strange going on's with the women's team. They needed a bit of a clear out but they have let some good players leave. No head coach in place yet either.

KWP is brilliant at carrying the ball but he's not great defensively. We will be under the cosh in a lot of games so a more solid defensive base would be needed. It's definitely bittersweet as Downes is pivotal to our system but KWP is so dynamic with the ball.
