I think a winger more needed than an out and out CF. BBD and Archer could play CF role imo. Even a fit RS could be useful in that position so on paper we have enough numbers to play CF. Quality of them is questionable still but we'd have to let one of them go to accommodate another CF imo. Edozie just doesn't cut the mustard at this level. He's not going to contribute anywhere near enough goals or even assists so I'd rather replace him and let him out on loan or sell him.

It's not even a debate. Bazunu will not displace Ramsdale. We are not smashing our transfer record on him to then make him understudy to a keeper with worst save percentage in the last two seasons.

Dibling is class. Fair play to the lad he recognised move to Chelsea was a big mistake and pushed to come back. He's now reaping the rewards. Same couldnt be said for Jimmy-Jay Morgan who perhaps took the money at the expense of his career.

Suggests Tom fellows link has legs. I like him as he's direct and quick but PL a huge jump in standard.

Doesnt he have shares in a software program that scouts players? I seem to recall Charly Alcaraz was initially scouted from it?

Selling Alcaraz for less than £15m is horrendous business. We must be absolutely desperate to balance the books

I'm all for the club encouraging fans to get behind the team but they have to give us something to get behind. It was so meak today. We are set up to be solid which I understand but the majority of passes are in the wrong direction. There is very little intent or bravery to create openings. We desperately need someone better than Edozie and a focal point upfront whether that be change of formation or personnel.

Without seeing either player but my hunch is that MF has a higher ceiling than MOR but time will tell. Before Celtic MOR was an absolute nobody. He's obviously done very well in the SPL but the average quality of that league must be league one / two so there is no way of telling how he will fair in the PL. Obviously no guarantees about MF either but I'd imagine our recruitment team will have determined he is better value for money with real prospect of having significant resale value.

I assume we need to sell the likes of TP and ABK before making an official bid? Sulemanna would raise more than those two but I can only see a Turkish or Saudi club buying him and their windows shut later so time isn't on our side.

We need a pacey wide player with end product more so than a striker imo. Jack Clarke type signing would be ideal. Should Ross Stewart be loaned out perhaps then a striker would then be sensible. I think BBD can play the #9 role.

Jack Clarke would be a great signing. Leeds reportedly interested and they may have the money to do it now they've sold both Somerville and Rutter. We probably needing to sell Alcaraz, ABK and TP before we do anything like this

Selling Alcaraz may raise the funds to go after MOR. Atalanta moved on to another target. Flamingo have bid €22m for Alcaraz according to Brazilian media outlet.

Alfie House suggesting GK will have to be a loan which makes sense given we have three other keepers on the books who won't find other clubs for various reasons. Not sure we will get a PL keeper on loan unless it's a deadline day scramble.

Shame we don't have a keeper who can do both.

I'm not seeing it. He has zero skill to get past players and is reliant on his speed but I don't actually think he's as quick as people make out him to be. Id sell him.

Atalanta are in for attacking midfielder Lazar Samardžić at Udinese according to Fab. MOR links to saints have all but vanished but Brighton have signed a midfielder for big money and if Atalanta spend big on this guy then maybe there is hope we can get MOR with Shea Charles going the other way maybe.

It's a massive IF but if Ross Stewart is actually close to being match ready and stays fit then him and BBD can both play the target man role so we do have options there. RS is unproven at this level as well spending the last 18 months injured so it's a huge risk but in terms of numbers we are ok on paper. I feel we are missing a player with blistering pace and end product. Edozie had pace but lacks end product. Dibling and SAA probably have end product but are not going to stretch teams with their speed albeit both are very skillful so can get away from defenders to a certain degree. Attacking midfielder to compete with Aribo and Smallbone needed. Both Downes and Lesley U can play at #8 as well as #6 but not sure either have that extra dynamism to open up defences.

He and Rice were decent partnership but to say he was brilliant individually is a bit of a stretch imo. I just don't rate him and that's ok we can have different opinions.

That's a risky signing. He's was so overrated when he was getting the plaudits imo and in the last two years he has shown his true ability.

Is it? How many goals does JWP score from inside the box? I think most of smallbones goals are almost Frank Lampard like.

Atalanta must have been encouraged by player / agent given they have made 4 or 5 bids? I reckon ABK and one other out the door before we sign anyone else.
