Ah yes, I'd forgotten Mark was his middle name. Cunning from Reed! When the fanbase asks for Les to be removed, he can fire Hughes instead...
-
Jeremy Wilson has Hughes as frontrunner. Surely this is as good a source as we can get at the moment? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/03/13/mark-hughes-favourite-southampton-job-aftermauricio-pellegrino/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

Is there anything good we can say about Pellegrino?

Everyone lies on their CV? -
Now there's an incentive for him to redouble his efforts to keep us up - the boot whatever happens!

Opinion or some sense of being ITK?

Why do you think he has not been sacked yet?

This. Almost a sense of you, the fans questioned our judgement by forcing us to remove Puel, and the board aren't going to have our judgement questioned again, whatever the consequences. -
The first tranche leaving us to go there bugged me but not now. They keep going there and still they've won nowt. If they were trophy chasers they'd try to go to sides who do win things...

Coldest you've ever been at a Saints game

Here's our side from that day. And we thought our defence now was bad... -

Norwich away in Dec 2005. Sat at the front of the away end in the snow & froze (til we noticed the rest of our away support had migrated to the back of the stand where it was marginally warmer). It was freezing cold, the football was cr*p and we lost 3-1. Only plus point was having a beer & a chat with Jimmy Case after the match - he'd commentated on the game and was staying in the same hotel as us. -
Sadly, the latter option still seems like an upgrade...

To an extent I'd agree that our recruitment hasn't been spot on in the last couple of years but a competent manager will see one of their strengths will be matching up against an area where we are weaker and look to restrict their effectiveness by cutting off the supply line.

Most significant impacts so far are the lobbed through ball vs West Brom for Tadic to score & injuring Yoshida. Needs a goal or two now to crack on. -
And when he gets injured Gardos will step into the breach...
-
For those who were there yesterday, how did Redmond get on? Has his spell out of the side done him some good?

Mark Dennis too

I'm actually at the point of wondering whether there's a contractual reason we won't sack MP, say in the first year of his contract (unless for disciplinary reasons). That the board have bought into their own hype so much, a season flirting dangerously with relegation could never be considered. And now we're left with no alternative but to back a man who is so clearly not up to the job it's untrue.

Clear proof the club does follow this forum then...

Could it be said we've got worse since Eric Black left?

Ralph: "So, 2018 is the year of the dog? What was last year?" Kat (Under her breath): 'The year of the mug..."
-
Gao: "Haha! Look at those useless w*nkers in the red & white shirts wth the hapless tw*t in charge. What mug owns them?" Nelly/Ralf: "Errrr..."

Swearing at SMS .... tolerable or offensive ?

As a family stand resident these days, you can clearly hear most chants. I'll never forget when 'Arry was in the opposition dugout & our crowd were accusing him of being a keen proponent of the art of self pleasure and my then 9 year old son looked at me and said "Daddy, now i know what Harry Redknapp is...". -

http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/11083216.Which_Saints_starlet_has_been_tipped_to_be_the_next_Zlatan_Ibrahimovic_/ He'll stay because we know he's going to be the new Zlatan. And once Redmond kicks on as the next Thierry Henry, we'll have the best strike force in the league, to go with the best midfield...
