IMO, he's crucial to us if we have any hope of staying up (if Rupes says we're allowed to play him, that is!). Wouldn't blame him for wanting to go, though, given the appalling way we've treated our experienced pros this year.

There were rumours of Crouch having a proven English manager lined up and he was at SMS at the weekend. Stranger things have happened. His comments about the side needing more experience could've been said by Crouch himself and he did seem far more gutted that lost than Wotte.
