If Bazunu does sign, and it looks like he will from reports, I still think there's space for a third keeper on the books otherwise we're only an injury from seeing Bycroft or Wright on the bench. I wouldn't be averse to Big Willy being kept on for a season, if he fancies it.

I'm hopeful with this one. The reviews of his time down the road are very positive and he's got 10 international caps at a young age. I look at the gamble Brighton took replacing the experienced, capable but ultimately limited Maty Ryan with Robert Sanchez mid-season in the season before last which could've ended with relegation but it worked and look at how he's doing now. One thing, though, I hope we get him disinfected before he joins up with the rest of the squad...

By "Saintsy", do you mean targeting a young player with potential to improve and be sold on for a tidy profit or targeting a player that ultimately we lose out to a Premier League rival? Both approaches are equally "Saintsy", I guess. 😃

Caught this on Twitter about Lis. I was hoping the plan was to buy a better keeper to improve the team not a really rubbish one to make Macca look better? And, if he turned out to be worse than our usual entry into "worst Premier League player ever", that would be a very impressive feat. Still, I'm sure we know what we're doing...

To be fair, we've had a number of "comedians" in goal for us over the years. Macca for one...

If it's for a season to act as cover for KWP whilst Tino gets fit, he'd do. I reckon Valery could be off this summer as surely he must want to play more regularly somewhere.

This is the bit which intrigues me. It would appear, as things stand, that Ralph is staying so how much involvement/say has he had in these departures? Did he go to the new board and say "look lads, these guys are duds and aren't helping me progress the team" or was it more that they said to him "Ralph, we're getting rid of these 3 to bring in some 'proper' coaches to assist you" and, possibly even, "so there will be no excuses from you if we stay shit"...
