Well if it’s that then OMG… someone actually has designed the Ajax kit for us? Do they get paid for that? How hard can this be to get a red and white (stripes preferably) or a variation but nearly striped kit?

Well I don’t want to talk about our form so will go back to talking about potential kits, if it’s the Ajax look then that’s clearly an Ajax shirt so I think we will all be underwhelmed with that. Please don’t over complicate it, guess it’s already been chosen and pics taken ( no idea how people find this info out) will await the leaked pics. There’s a new way of launching it this year, we do seem so have lots of imagination in launching our kits, pity the results are usually a bit messy and too red!!!

New kit should big baggy black trousers, a red and white striped waistcoat, a flower where the badge should be, a red nose for each player and accompanied with massive oversized boots and a frizzy red wig… 🤡

Mmmmm Liverpool, Man Utd, Forest…. I could go on … slightly two toned stripes design so mayb that would work with white stripes, aslong as it’s not a plain back!

Have to agree. I personally like more white than red and def no silly red backs, the names and numbers in black wd stand out perfectly as has been the case in so many years gone by. I don’t know why we feel we need to persist with the type of back we do when there is no Europe to worry about. The newer version of the 70’s stripes is similar to a mock up of what I had designed for my own amusement, it just looks like saints!

Can we let the goalie do his savey thing, as am guessing that’s why he is there and not keep passing it back to him to set up an attack. Just have this feeling it doesn’t bl****y work! I rec the defenders shd defend , midfielders build up the attack, wingers maybe run down the wing,cross it in, strikers get on end of crosses? By Jove I think I have sorted out where we are going wrong.

Just been to saints netball match, we were great, pkk lim surf by the rules, get the ball, stop, pass back, was fun

Changing subject a bit but why didn’t we have VAR today ?? If the Lino hadn’t been intimidated by our goalie the goal would of stood and we couldn’t of challenged it??? Thought prem teams used it in cup?

What a surprise! The whites v the blues! No reason why both teams aren’t wearing home kits! UEFA have such daft rules…. End v den tomorrow should both be in home kits … as the final aswell should we get there… I know to some it’s a minor detail but where’s the common sense and tradition!?????

As an aside, isn’t it boring watching the white team v the red team or the white team v the blue team, there are so many games that teams could of worn their home kits, we just had Spain v Swiss , white v red , we have the same now , Italy shd be in blue. Why does uefa have to keep setting stupid rules?? It’s like saints, the red backs on our new shirts just ruin it… yet again!

What the hell, let’s stir it up even more.... we always have a debate each season of how our kit isn’t quite right... take a look at Stoke City’s!!!! Perfect!!! Simple, clean, Why can’t we just have that, nice if you ask me. Some will say boring but it’s a RED AND WHITE STRIPED SHIRT!!!

Hope the away is as predicted, yellow, a nice simple yellow with the blue chevrons, nothing too fussy, that would sell like hot cakes! No need for a third kit. We all know why all teams HAVE to have a third ... marketing but I think two nice kits will sell better than 3! Fingers crossed it’s good.

Yeah I agree, plain backs aren’t nice, a black number on stripes is easy to see from a distance anyhow, other stripey teams seem to still have them 🤷🏼‍♂️. Nice though, better than the last few years.

Headless chickens with a headless chicken in charge ... I like Ralph but we are all confused with tactics and personnel changes... we need and deserve better than this.. what a load of crap.

Just throwing it out there , I do think our badge is good, it says lots about our area and nickname, I did have one idea to freshen it up as it were, wondered what your thought were. Why not have the black of the halo and black of the Southampton name in dark blue instead? Maybe somebody could do a mock up? Keep the rest of the badge the same. Kit wise we could have dark blue shorts. Just freshening things up. We had them up until around the 50’s?

No more sash! This seasons in my opinion was smart but fir me not really us. I do think there is a case to freshen up from time to time but there’s too much red. I think more white with red rather than other way round but def no more sash. Stripes or the early keegan variants are classic looks. Nobody has that early 80’s look anywhere in all the leagues as far I am aware, def not in the top flight. Rumours are stripes which I will be happy with. I have to say the under armour stuff was too fussy.
