If you book in advance you could do Southampton to Manchester for £30 odd. Though as I stated there are cheaper means of transport available as well and as Hypo pointed out above, he can't be bothered and unfortunately that's the attitude most of our support adopts.

And that attitude right there is the problem. I despair of some of our fans.

My mate was running a coach for £19, the travel club is about £28 and a train from Southampton to Waterloo is over £30.

If Arsenal was £51 it would still sell out in minutes. The cost is just a convenient excuse to hide behind as getting to Manchester actually involves a little bit of effort. A mate of mine was advertising a coach on here for £19 return and had pretty much zero interest in it. A Sunday out at the Etihad would probably work out cheaper than an all dayer in the capital on a Saturday. Bar Reading, Fulham and Wigan - there isn't another club in the PL that would fail to sell out this game if they were in the same position and people on here are quick to mock those 3x teams for their support.

Sales must be slow. Will be highly embarrassing if we fail to sell out against the Champions in our first game after promotion. Would be pathetic in fact.

It's tolerated now because we've been doing well but the amount of self praise and attention that NC lavishes on himself through our official media channels is nothing short of weird. Please no. Other than that wonder goal against Arsenal, he's done nothing and not rated by Spurs fans I know. I'm all for picking up big clubs cast off's but not their youth players that never made it.
