Did I say he was crap? I said he was carried by players of greater ability during his time at Man Utd, much like; Brown, O'Shea, P. Neville, Gibson and you'll be able to add Cleverly to that list in a few years time. Park was deployed in their big games to press the opposition - that is a 100% fact. Will be interesting to see how he get's on when he's one of the key men with a team relying on him to help drive them on. Personally I don't think he's up to that but served a purpose for Man Utd.

Park was carried by Man Utd. He was deployed to run around a lot in big games when Man Utd knew they wouldn't have all the possession like normal. Interesting to see how he fares this season. Where have I written him off because of his nationality? I was merely asking a question and igniting some debate.

Forgot about Nakata - he was decent when he was at Parma. The real test for Park will be this season when he won't be carried by the rest of his team.

I was hoping the two CB's and LB we're signing tomorrow would give us that 'feel good' factor.

Don't be daft. If he was going, they would've rolled out their best biscuits in a last ditch attempt to keep him. As he's staying, there's no need to waste the good ones for now, save them for the January transfer window.
