Because that would involve thinking of the fans. -
Argentina upping the ante on the Falklands....

Many thanks. -
Then again, it's not as if he's in charge of the transfers, so let's hope Les and Nicola have something lined up.
-
In all fairness, £12m for Rodwell was seriously good business, he's so over-rated.
-
And that is exactly what will happen. Nothing will change with the FFP rules.
-
Staggering.

If CL qualification is as simple as keeping your academy players, I don't understand why more teams haven't tried it... oh wait, that's because you also need to supplement it with hundreds of millions of pounds. Anyone on here who thinks we will qualify for the CL within the next 25 years, without a Man City style spending spree is a moron.

Ridiculous. Starting to think I may give this and Man Utd a swerve. B*llocks to spending all that money to watch us get easily beaten 3-0 by their semi-reserve teams. -
Absoloutely ridiculous. The ignorance of some of our fans never ceases to amaze me. If Reading fans were banging on about how they might qualify for the CL because Everton once did, there would be a 10 page thread on here deriding them for being the most deluded fans in the Premiership and everyone would be having a good laugh at them. Oh and Everton didn't even make it past the qualifying round in the CL.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday/Tuesday, so they will know then whether it's a league game or a cup game. Either way, it will still be pricey. Think Wolves paid £35 there for a League Cup game! -
Where did he say that? I find that abosloutley staggering if true. The amount of points we have lost becuase of mistakes from our keepers this season is a disgrace.

Anyone have a link to the copy of the advert The Sun put in? Knowing them it will be poorly written and incredibly cringeworthy. -

I always thought this would be re-arranged for April time or somthing like that. -
"Our postponed Premier League game at Chelsea has been provisionally rearranged for Wednesday 16th January with a 7.45pm kick-off time:http://sfcne.ws/10XSB6v However, if this weekend's FA Cup game ends level, this month's trip to Stamford Bridge will be classed as a third-round replay. In that situation, our Premier League game at Stamford Bridge would again be rearranged for a date later in the season. Ticketing information to follow shortly."

QPR, Reading and Villa are the worst teams I've seen and will be involved along with us and Wigan.
-
Here we go again... We should just stick to trying not to get relegated.

Going to Wigan away- what is the cheapest way to do it?
This Charming Man replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
The train takes 2hrs from London and there are still some cheap fares to be had, I only booked mine the other day. -
It's shameful that we can't sell out for a game of this magnitude. If it was in London it would've sold out in a day and people would be begging for tickets on here on a daily basis. Though this requires travelling an hour further, therfore most can't be bothered.
-
We must be on the look out for the new Mourinho.
-
Could do without another transfer saga rumbling on, plus with the games coming up this month, we really do need that defence strenghtened sooner rather than later.
-
Surely he's been sectioned by now?
-
Ordered mine on the 2nd day of sale (over the phone as they'd wiped my order history) and they were on the doormat the following day.
-
You could have 1,000 tickets all to yourself and we still wouldn't be close to selling out Wigan.

How Many Of The 92 Have You Done?
This Charming Man replied to View From The Top's topic in General Sports
68/92 for me. Two new ones to come this season, lost a few in recent years to non-league and expect a couple more to go this season. -
A mate earlier was told by the ticket office that it is pay on the day.
