Skys disregard for the fans reaches a new level
This Charming Man replied to Saint_clark's topic in General Sports
The fans are happy to watch the players that Sky's millions have bought, then moan when a game is shown on TV. Morons. -
It cost a fortune, and has a major design flaw
This Charming Man replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
LOL. Quality. Unfortunately, the vast majority of our fans are known by most as happy clapping, soft mongs. -
We had 1,000 of them there yesterday, bar the abuse towards the Skate, there was no atmosphere from us at all.
-
Oh do shut up you pompous, preaching idiot. Are you honestly trying to tell me you have never responded to opposition fans taunting? Have you never taunted another set of fans? Our fans weren't scrapping with stewards and police, they were the ones being heavy-handed and over reacting to the situation - grabbing people left, right and centre for no reason, I even saw them arrest a man for taking a photo! This is what happens at football, it has an edge that other sports don't have, hence why it attracts the largest audiences around the world. Football is all about emotions and passion, not sitting on your hands all game. If you want it all nice and pleasant, please feel free to stop going, you won't be missed. Yesterday some pathetic, weasel looking skate decided to wear his Skate shirt to the game and drag his two daughters along and dress them up in Skate shirts as well, he could have sat anywhere in the ground but chose to sit there - anyone who does that, deserves a slap, thankfully, as we drove past in our cab, it looked as if someone had done just that.
-
I refused to go on there when I was in Samui. The fat skate on the leaflets handed around town was enough to put me off.

Always look out for Turks carrying knvives... do, do, do... do, do, do,do,do, do
-
Wait until he finds out there are still 17,000 tickets left, he'll hate you even more then.
-
Some people did. Their limo broke down on the Severn Bridge, when we drove past, the whole mini bus was hanging out the windows laughing at them. I'm sure they enjoyed the whole experience.
-
Just thought, we have half the stadium as it is, so do Carlisle, though only certain sections are on sale to them. If they have sold tickets in the blocks next to the segregation, I doubt very much we'd be able to have more tickets.
-
Exactly, The FA would do anything possible to flog more tickets if they could. I also fail to see how they couldn't segregate it properly? The concourse has metal gates that can be closed all round the stadium, meaning it can be segregated virtually anywhere and for the seats, the netting just needs to be moved along. Personlly, I think we will only just sell out as it is.

People like you are an embarrassment to the club. You should have heckled him and asked if he'd finished crying over a few pieces of paper being waved in his face.
-
It is offically a Saints pub, normally bouncers on the door for England games, so imagine any Jocks trying to get in will be turned away.
-
Think they should quote my name instead, seeing as I'm the one who put you in contact with him...
-
Heard about this in the pub afterwards. Quality story, only downside is that nobody laid the fat, crooked, c*nt out.
-
A quote from a Brum fan, taken off the Englandfans forum; (where they have been a few threads about this game, started by neutrals and everyone on there is aware just how intense the hatred is) "As for the game and atmosphere i was very impressed. Have done a few Derby games before and this is probably the best i've done. None stop singing all game, and before, which is a rareity nowadays in English stadiums"
-
Terrible, terrible support from us. It's shocking that this has taken so long to sell out. People moaning about the linked sale, if you don't wish to attend another home game this season, what kind of a fan are you? Ticket prices, worth every penny for a game like this. However terrible the Skates support has been this season, they would sell this game out 10x times over.

FAO: Those who want to stand & sing at Wembley
This Charming Man replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
The FA have a designated singing area for England home games, the first few games were a success, the stewards let us stand and you got a decent atmosphere, they then clocked on this was the most popular part of the ground and upped the prices, hence we all retreated back to the cheap seats in the upper tier and the singing section was full of happy clapping, day tripping, mongs who only stood up when the Mexican Wave came round and the atmosphere at Wembley died away totally. Anyway, what I'm trying to get as it can be done if organised properly and the stewards will turn a blind eye if eveyone stands en masse. -
Was that the most SAINTS fans ever in SMS?
This Charming Man replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Agreed there, they let to many people in that night and nearly every aisle in the stadium had people sitting/standing on them. Easily over 33,000 there that night with a couple of hundred Bayern there, but they will obvisouly never admit that. -
Please stop reffering to the seat as your seat, it isn't your seat as you don't have a ST. Everyone knows that the only way to guarantee a ticket for a big game is to have a ST. So if you don't have one, you know the score. If you can't afford one, well that's just unlucky. I'd like to live in mansion, but I can't afford it, I don't moan about it though.
-
Only those who attended the away game will be allowed to purchase tickets for this game.
-
It does make me laugh when people moan about being stuck in a queue or not getting through. It's what happens when a big event goes on sale. Funnily enough, the club hasn't got 20,000 call centre staff to answer all your calls at once. Stop f*cking moaning and wait, you'll get through in the end, if you do miss out, tough, buy a season ticket next year.
-
Indeed, if they were 'proper' fans, they would have a season ticket and would have booked their ticket in the space of 30 seconds online. That bird on the OS article looks like she's been queueing since the 80's with that barnett.
-
I buy my own ticket then just go and stand with my mates anyway. I haven't once this season stood by my allocated seat. I wasn't aware we had Away Season Tickets this year anyway. I did have one a few years back, though with the online booking, it's not exactly hard work booking a ticket.

Apparently the landlord is a Skate. Any truth in this?
-
I'd only contribute if the proceeds were to be lobbed at the Skates throughout the game.
