Some more info about Cortese: Was on the lash in town the other night and was talking about Saints. Some randomer over-heard and said he's currently working at Cortese' house in Southampton. He said he's incredibly fussy and they've currently fitted 3 lots of fitted wardrobes at his house and he's demanded all 3 be ripped out as not up to standard. Maybe if he hadn't wasted all the clubs money on wardrobes, we could've signed Owen? CORTESE OUT

You can't really predict the Top 6. Yeah there are a few that will more than likely be there; Leicester, Cardiff and Swansea if they don't go up. Look at Sheff Utd, they were probably half decent odds to get promoted but ended up being relegated. The Championship is mad, anyone can beat anyone and anything can happen. Teams like Leeds, Millwall, Doncaster, Burnley, Watford could just as easily finish in the top 6 as they could the bottom 3. Same goes for us and Brighton.

Relegation from the Premiership was the hardest as we were so pathetic that season. I wasn't bothered about relegation from the Championship. I was led on a beach in Bali the day we were relegated, dreaming of Hartlepool away on a Tuesday night. In a way, I'm glad we were relegated to L1. Had a top time last season and end of this season, plus I got to tick a load more grounds off the 92. I'm in no rush to return to the Premiership.

Yes Rangers and Septic's squads aren't great but playing in the SPL severely restricts the quality of players they can bring in and the money they can generate. If they were to ever move to the Premiership (which I'm against), they would easily be top 8 sides, as they'll be able to attract/afford a better calibre of player. I think people down here under-estimate the sheer size of Rangers and Septic. They're massive, massive clubs with huge worldwide fan bases, which dwarf the likes of Man City, Chelsea, Newcastle etc.

In all fairness, those Fenian C*nts were doing it well before Man City started doing it. Whilst it is gay, it does look impressive when an entire, full stand is doing it. I was right next to the Celtic fans at the last Old Firm and all of them were doing it at HT. Did look good.

Brilliant post mate. Whilst the home games have been a bit mundane at points, the awaydays have been top notch. Loads of new grounds and backward towns visited. Some top trips had.

I can't be bothered to read this thread but Plymouth took huge pleasure when we were relegated and in admin, so I took great pleasure in sending their poxy little club down and joined in with every "going down" related chant aimed at them.
