  1. Haha. Wasn't too bad, I feared it was going to be worse. Think the croissant helped soak some of the booze up...
  2. I didn't hear it once at Barnsley!
  3. I've got 4x tickets for sale (will sell as pairs) for Day 1 of the India test at The Oval - 18th Aug. Tickets are £50 each. I can have them in the post tomorrow morning with guaranteed delivery by Wednesday 12pm. Make me an offer...
  4. Hardly a snob for not wanting to live in a dump.
  5. Fancy Cardiff and Blackpool both to win.
  6. Only if you sing FCUM songs with me all night.
  7. No. It's on Winchester Rd.
  8. Totally dominated the game for the first 85mins, just a bit disappointing we didn't create more chances. We kept the ball well and outclassed what admittedly was a poor Barnsley side. Should've been more comfortable and not having to hang on for dear life for the last 10mins. Jack Cork was my MOTM. Covered every blade of grass again and kept possession of the ball really well. Lallana was involved in most attacks and key bits of play as per usual and Fonte was a rock as he always is. Good performance, shame we didn't get a few more goals, which would've been fully deserved.
  9. You do talk some utter rubbish at times.
  10. What on earth are his bones made of? Glass? What a waste of space.
  11. I can only assume we've sold less or the same as last season, otherwise it would've been announced.
  12. A definite red card and a stupid, pointless follow through from Chaplow.
  13. I'll grant you that. Though last time I was there, we spent most of the time trying to stop scallies from sticking a glass in our face. Never experienced anything like it on a night out. At one point the bouncer came over and asked us to leave for our own safety, as these lads that had it in for us were 'un-touchable" in Liverpool. Ha.
  14. He's from Liverpool so anywhere new for him is going to seem like paradise.
  15. Of course that is taken into consideration. We're just saying we should have more people who can be arsed to go every single Saturday than we currently do.
  16. I'd say last season that the league was very much even in the North/South divide.
  17. Good find that. Though Burnley and Huddersfield are small towns, our away support should be vastly superior to theirs. I'd be happy if we averaged 2k away from home. That would also reflect fairly in comparison to our home support.
  18. Or maybe they're currently getting a good shafting in the train bogs?
  19. Leeds had 3,200 down and we only managed to muster 25k for the opening game of the season. Imagine 'wall will bring 2,500 or so.
  20. They could announce they're going to resurrect ML on the pitch at HT and it still wouldn't sell out. Will be 24k there, IMO.
  21. What was that Keegan goal actually disallowed for?
  22. Delap for me. It was better than Rooney's over-head against Man City, that'll be shown for eternity. I imagine Delap's will never see the light of day on TV ever again.
  23. Depends what night you go in there. Midweek it's full of fat 40 year old woman. On Saturday it's full of fat 20 year old, chain-smokers, with rubbish tattoo's and 6 kids each. They do Double Vodkas at £1.50 a pop, hence why I grace the place with my presence for a couple of hours a weekend.
  24. Such is my level of boredom at work, I even asked a Brentford mate how many they're taking to Sheff Utd tomorrow and they're expecting well over a 1000 there. If a small L1 club, with an average gate that is 1/5th of ours can manage to take that, it shows just how poor our support is.
  25. I normally drink in there. No wonder they gutted the place a while ago and totally refurbbed it.
