Ridiculous. That couldn't have been a problem when we were at The Dell as we doubled our crowds once we moved to SMS, so the support was obviously still there. I'd much rather have 28k season ticket holders, then you don't get people picking and choosing. You would have 31k for the likes of WHU and Brighton at home, as well as the likes of Peterborough and Hull on a cold Tuesday night.

I'm sure there will be someone on here who could help you or even have a spare. I'd hurry up though, there aren't many tickets left!

What would be a shame is someone who hasn't attended any away games, getting a ticket over people that have. Though I imagine pretty much anyone who wants a ticket, will get a ticket. Our fans like nice days out like Reading, Leyton Orient and Bournemouth. Not moody ones, where you have to be bused in by the police to prevent trouble.

I doubt they will, they're probably just saying it to try and put people off from doing it in the first place. I can't see them checking the ID of every single person boarding a coach, it's going to be enough hassle as it is for everyone involved.

The same with playing Smalling at RB, when Micah Richards doesn't even get in the squad. All very strange.

Plus each week, the MOTM get's to pick one to take home for the night as a reward for his display...

We used to have an official team but they were rightly deemed a waste of money and binned.

He didn't run it, he employed David Luker to run it who did a decent job, always responded to any queries and kept the fans in the loop.

I've met his old man once before and had quite a long chat with him, I may have been hammered at the time but remember speaking about Sam and he said he's a Saints fan and would love to play for us one day.

They're supposed to be converting it fairly soon I believe.

Even if the club offered for the tickets to be posted out recorded delivery for a little extra, that would be something. What I find strange is Adkins in his interviews is always going on about how great our support is and how it means so much, as do the players on Twitter. Yet the club seem to try and make it hard as possible for fans to book tickets at times. No on-line sales when they're on restricted sale, booking fees, collection only, limited information, tucking away news articles regarding ticket sales on the OS. I can only assume they pay little interest to away ticket sales as there is no profit to be made.

Try Barmy Flags. I've never used them but the vast majority of England lads I travel with have and the quality is top notch.

That's why I can't watch football in pubs. Full of pub bores who have never bothered to attend a game but give it the biggun in front of a TV screen. I normally have mates trying to wind me up when Saints lose and they all follow someone out of 'The Big 4'. So I've adopted a simple policy, if you don't attend your teams matches on a regular basis, your opinion on all things football related is null and void and any attempts at 'banter' won't even register.

I wouldn't say that, their first XI isn't that bad.

Hopefully it goes just as well as our experiments with appointing coaches with no managerial experience...

Where have you got that figure from and is that 2,500 application forms (with numerous people on) or 2,500 people that have applied?

We did the same with our kit with our short lived venture into Europe.

It's a great night out and the city centre is decent enough. Edinburgh is a far better city though, IMO.
