A couple of years ago I turned up on the 35th minute, off my face and they still let me in.

I can't even remember there being loads of threads with people begging for tickets for home games on S4E. Which surely there would've been had the demand been there.

You don't actually know that though. You're purely guessing that was the case. I for one can't ever remember someone moaning about missing out on a ticket for Bolton at home...

We would have to go on some kind of Man City/Chelsea spending spree then to achieve CL football in 5 years. I just find the whole thing so ridiculous I can't even take that statement seriously. In order for us to expand; we would have to sell out regularly, have at least 24k season ticket holders (with a significant waiting list) and do so for a number of years. Look at the likes of Liverpool and Spurs - both have sold out on a regular basis at home for god knows how long, both have massive waiting lists for season tickets and only in the last few years have they (seriously) started to sound out the possibility of moving grounds or expanding and we have nowhere near their level of support - not even close.

I do when he says things like he wants Champions League football in 5 years and when he says he wants to expand a stadium that hasn't sold out on a regular basis for over 6/7 years.

I wasn't wearing a Saints shirt at the time, but a couple of months ago I attended a Red Star Belgrade match and started chatting to some locals. He asked who I supported and got all excited when I said Saints. He liked us as we play in the same colours as Red Star, he knew our recent results and Peter Crouch was his favourite English player (lol). Then again, we're a f*cking massive club so it should be expected.

He is quite clearly using those tragedies as justification for the bubble trip and for him to do so, he is implying that football violence was involved. Otherwise what relevance would they have to the point he is trying to make?

Are you blind? There is a direct quote from him claiming that the tragedies at Hillsborough and Bradford were caused because of football violence.

How is he? He's stating facts. This is our biggest game of the season (along with the Skates at home) and we can't even sell it out. Everyone on here was banging on about how amazing our support was at Wembley, yet failing to take 3,000 down the road for a game that's far bigger than that is quite frankly a disgrace.

They would've sold out come KO. Not selling out for this is quite frankly embarrassing on our part. Where are all the mugs who were paying £60 for Orient tickets and £100 for Bournemouth? The 4,500 that went to Reading for a televised game? Shows our support to be full of soft mincers who'd rather a happy clappy, nice day out at safe old Reading and the like, rather than experience a proper atmosphere at a proper derby game. As for those saying they're not going as they don't want to give any money to the Skates, so you'll just be watching it on the TV. I assume you don't have a TV License and don't have a Sky subscription?
