No problem. I can see why some people would rather see a new, more progressive regime building for the future if that meant a couple of seasons in the Championship. As others have said, there is life outside the PL. No fan wants to see us relegated but there are those that can also see the bigger picture. To say someone isn't a fan just because they have a different opinion is just stirring.

I actually had us finishing 16th. Brighton being 17th and also staying up on GD.

We'll stay up on goal difference on 35 points. We'll be out of the bottom three for a few weeks before a poor run of form and our opponents having favourable fixtures means that we'll drop back in. Scraping a few hard-fought draws will mean that we'll clamber back out but will need other results to go our way in the last few games. Squeaky bum time - finishing mid-table is so boring!

Not out of the woods yet by any means. We've got a tough few weeks coming up now and could well be back in the bottom three after that!

I don't get this, Gabbi was great for a those first few games when he signed. What's changed? Didn't he say somewhere (and I may be misquoting) that Puel asked him to play differently and then never recovered that form. There's a great player in there somewhere.

I'd forgotten how bad the highlights footage on ITV was back then. Impossible to follow the game like that but I'm sure someone thought it was an artsy, edgey new angle, literally.
