  1. Relax, we will finish safely mid-table after some greatly improved performances (but also some heavy defeats while we learn). Ralph will then be poached by a bigger club a few weeks before the summer transfer window closes next year and we'll start the circus all over again
  2. We'll have the wind behind us in the 2nd half. Don't underestimate how much of an effect the wind is having on passing etc.
  3. His boring what? The suspense is killing me.
  4. Well I'm glad I didn't make the journey into the city for this one. Watched it on my laptop in my accommodation and fell asleep shortly after half time. Looks like I missed the best bits though. It's going to be another long season I reckon.
  5. That would be great, thanks.
  6. I'll be on my own for a week in Sydney so quite fancy a bit of social interaction by watching the game out somewhere. I'll scope out a few places near to where I'll be staying in Bondi when I get there.
  7. I'm going to be in Sydney for the Burnley game and due to the early kick-off, it'll be on at a reasonable time over here. Anyone else in that neck of the woods know a good place to watch it?
  8. He doesn't look happy when he's on holiday, no wonder he always looks miserable on the pitch I love the guy though.
  9. You're over thinking this, it's only a kit. You're Photoshop skills are sh*t too!
  10. I don't watch a lot of England so can someone please explain wtf Henderson is doing on the pitch.
  11. Roy Keane just said re: VAR that "we all like a bit of human error". Err, no Roy, we all don't. We like consistency and big decisions being made correctly.
  12. Someone from Stoke on the last day of the window.
  13. Jesus wept there are some prize bellends on this forum. Put the keyboards down and go outside and enjoy the sun.
  14. And they're at it again.
  15. This pretty much sums up my thoughts too.
  16. Is anyone else worried that Stoke will capitulate against Swansea in order to get Hughes relegated? Everyone talking about us not shipping goals against Man City, I'm more worried about the Stoke game ?
  17. Not only did we sack a manager that was a bit of an experiment, we replaced him with a 'proper British' manager that 'knows the league' etc etc... What's scary is that I remember saying to my other half at the start of the season that this season had parallels with 2005. That was based on our fixture list with an easier start to the season and a harder run-in. It's written in the stars that we're going down, or something like that. As someone said earlier, you can read anything in statistics if you look hard enough (a bit like the stars then).
  18. Europe might be out of the question but we can still achieve 8th and a cup final
  19. I tuned in at the weekend at 2-0 only to see all three of Chelsea's goals. Well the good news is I'll be on a flight to Milan for the entire duration of the match against Leicester so can't curse it. If we win, I'll promise to not watch another minute of us play until we're mathematically safe.
  20. Play like we did today against Leicester, Bournemouth and Swansea and we may yet still have a chance. The question is does the gap in the table now start to effect the players mentally? If their heads now drop we're as good as down. Can Hughes earn his bonus and instil a bit of belief for the remaining fixtures? There will be plenty of twists and turns yet before the season is over that's for sure. Wouldn't be surprised to see Brighton dragged into the mix yet.
  21. Beat Bournemouth and draw with Everton and Swansea, gives us 33 points. That might be enough based on the fact that Huddersfield and Stoke don't look likely to better that. I know I'm clutching at straws but it's not over yet. Also, based on our current form, getting those 5 points looks a big ask.
  22. Why is JWP playing in their goal?
  23. And Huddersfield have one of the trickiest so them losing is a good thing for us.
  24. Huddersfield have got Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea as three of their last four games. I would be quite worried if I were them. Everton's run in is interesting, of their 8 remaining games, 1 is Liverpool, 1 is City and the remaining are all teams in the current bottom 8. They will play a big part as to who goes down, have a bad run against teams fighting for their lives and they could even find themselves in trouble. There are also some other crunch games at the bottom; Stoke Vs West Ham, Huddersfield Vs Palace, Newcastle Vs Huddersfield and Stoke Vs Palace.
