Closer than the Veltins Arena guess! (which is the other one I know of)
-
Anyone know this badboy? One of only two "matchbox" stadiums in Europe (that I am aware of!)
-
Anyone fancy a stab at this one? If you've ever followed England in a tournament, you might have been here
-
Yeah, it's definitely Cyrpus' national stadium, but I have no idea of the name!
-
Correct and correct. Schalke's old Parkstadion and Porto's Estadio das Antas, since replaced by the impressive Dragao.
-
Tis not. Give you a clue (or two), it's in Germany and it's no longer in use. The other stadium nobody has got is also now defunct. Both belonged to large sides who have sinced moved to state of the art stadiums.

Swiss-Italian border would be nice, could play Bellinzona, Como, Lugano...........

If Dundee Utd can, why can't we? http://www.dufc1909.co.uk/content/view/507/2/ Didn't Real Madrid play some Irish part timers for pre-season too? Ronaldo's debut if I remember rightly!
-
He lives here, HTH http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulle Bulle apparently loosely translates to Dubai in some language, which got lost in translation during an interview. He doesn't live there.

Nope and nope! The last one is blue, so deffo not Olmpiakos. They're a similar sized club though in their own country.
-
We're such a small country compared to some in Europe. Ross to Plymouth is 457 miles. When Udinese play, for example, Bari in Serie A, that's a 587 mile journey. If Udinese fans fancy seeing their team away against either Palermo or Catania then that's a 970 mile journey including the short ferry across to Sicily. In the French Ligue 1, Lille to Marseille is 624 miles. I could go on...................

They bring it upon themselves by signing injury prone players and then rushing them back too quickly. Chamakh will make them a better side next year but until they sign a new keeper, centre-half and centre-mid, they'll always fall short in the Prem and Champs League.
-
How many did we take up to Hartlepool midweek? Must've been more and surely a couple of hundred miles further.
-
Correct again, only replaced last year. Anyone else for the remaining two? One is a Champions League regular, the other appears now and again but is one of the larger sides in their country.
-
Correct, the former Estadio da Luz and Ajax's pokey old De Meer, good spot on the Ajax one, the small pic made it even harder, couldn't find a decent sized one!
-
Maybe if Cortese ever went to Milan we could ask them for an annual friendly in return. We'd probably beat their bunch of pensioners too (if Pato didn't play)
-
Harry deserves **** all credit for Bale's form. He grudgingly had to start playing him because of injuries to other players, had they all been fit he'd still be knocking around in their ressies, so Saggy Chops shouldn't take any plaudits. £70m spent since he took over and no trophies, only City have spent more in that time and to think 'Arry always moans about Spurs' lack of resources compared to the "big 4", what a ****. Oh and yes, Arsenal are a useless bunch of fancy-dans. Jose Mourinho's sides play ugly and he's a trophy machine, take note Arsene.

Antonio - Will he be a saint next season..?
oxfordshire_saint replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
We'd be mad not to sign Antonio and he'd be mad not to sign for us. Plus points for us: he's young, he's free, he's versatile, he has a knack of scoring important goals, he seems to have a genuine desire to play for the club, Pardew seems to know how to get the best out of him (something which Reading clearly weren't doing) Plus points for him: we'd probably pay well, he already knows the club, Pardew seems to know how to get the best out of him (something which Reading clearly weren't doing) -
Right, how about some old school Euro grounds?
-
Tis indeed Elm Park. The only stadium I've ever fell asleep at.
-
Dirty? They sit top of the bookings league with 124, Colchester are way off in 2nd with a grand total of 76. MK Dons officially the dirtiest team in the league by a mile (thanks Football365)

Gloucester? Taunton?
