  1. This lot, they're rather good http://www.myspace.com/malpasmusic
  2. Give them a plain uniform too, not the red, white and black catering stuff they all usually wear!
  3. PS: Markus, I need to borrow a pen NC whispering to ML: I don't think so Markus, he'll repeatedly promise to give it back but we'll only have to end up lodging it as a claim in the administration ML to PS: NEIN!
  4. They need to put a decent amount of police in the concourse too, win lose or draw I can see them trying to trash the place.
  5. I have it on good authority that one of the serious bids is a Mugabe/Kim Jong Il/Ahmadinejad consortium. The other is Marc Jackson
  6. Nah, they'll let us both out at the same time to bash seven bells out of eachother, it'll be pwwwwopa nawty. Bring tools.
  7. Just listened to The Freewheelin by Bob Dylan from start to finish, beautiful album.
  8. Of course I don't think we should be winning the Champs League, but the JPT is the sort of tournament that we were probably taking the **** out of before we got to this level. Like I said, I'll enjoy the day out and all, but I wont exactly be buying a DVD of the day and souveneir t-shirt!
  9. It was probably just some drug dealers or doggers (although admittedly that doesn't mean they weren't Skates )
  10. Yes it'll be a good day out and yes, I'll happily buy my ticket for it, but I think it's a bit desperate to claim it as major silverware. If we win, I certainly wont be bragging to people about it. I know things are on the up these days, but for a club like ours, playing in the JPT is a bit embarrasing really.
  11. There are few funnier sights in football than seeing Wayne Thomas react to one of his team-mates being the victim of a nasty foul! Anyone remember him going steaming in when Kemal Izzet smashed Lallana and got himself sent off when we played Colchester at home? I thought he was going to deck him but managed to restrain himself. I hope he boots someone up in the air on Saturday (without getting a red of course!)
  12. I mentioned on another thread that there was some bloke in a blue adidas top up in that same corner who spent the whole first half trying to goad the Itchen. Someone needs to tell him that a w@nker gesture from behind a row of stewads and cops isn't big or clever. But yes, the fat baldie getting himself worked up in the second half was priceless!
  13. Oh yeah, forgot that!
  14. I for one am bloody glad there was no pitch invasion though, I'd have been a little embarrased. Title win, last day escape, reaching the final of a MAJOR cup.......these are all times when it's acceptable. I'm glad we've won and it'll be a good day out at Wembley, but it is only the JPT after all! I'd have been ashamed if people had gone on.
  15. Has anyone stopped to think about the feelings of those poor Wotsits for having to put up with having that little **** being likened to them?
  16. what if it's glandular?
  17. You could go really deep into that sort of stuff and claim even chanting "sit down Pinnochio" to Phil Thompson when he was Liverpool's assistant manager was big nose-ist. Why not even claim that some of our songs might upset people from P*rtsmouth? They can't help being born there.
  18. Oh and taunting Dean Lewington with "look like a wotsit, you ****ing look like a wotsit" was first class!
  19. That was bloody brilliant, watching him get angrier and angrier whilst his mates stood behind the stewards giving the ****** signs to the Itchen. There was some idiot sat up in that corner in the first half in a blue adidas top, looked like a total nobhead prancing around behind a row of stewards and police.
  20. Indeed, everyone knows the Prem will do everything in their power to stop one of their clubs going into admin as it's awful PR for them. Once relegated, they're on their own!
  21. I'd rather that they manage to muddle their way through this season, because they're going down with or without a deduction. Then, let's hope they end up going into admin just after the Championship season starts, leaving their threadbare squad with a -10 defecit to overhaul.
  22. Good to see them giving it to a high-profile ref. Will it really be that out of control on the pitch though? Obviously the atmosphere in the stands will be electric but will their team of African mercenaries really get that fired up?
  23. Nail on the head. Football "violence" doesn't really extend to innocent members of the public who are just going to enjoy the game, only isolated incidents like the West Ham vs Millwall game or the infamous Millwall vs Birmingham game. For example, people always hype up trips to Millwall, I've been there 3 times and the most trouble I've had is the standard police act of keeping us in the away fans alleyway that goes to the station whilst their lot get on the trains. The mongs who go looking for the trouble will probably get it, the rest of us just going to the game will be fine.
  24. Brilliant, cheers for the advice, I've been wanting to find out some more about my family's history in the wars. One of my Grandfathers, the one who was in the Coldstream Guards, died just before Christmas and it's really made me want to try and find out as much as possible from the Grandparents that I do have left. I've visited a lot of the memorials and battlefields in France and Belgium (Thiepval, Beaumont-Hamel, Ypres, La Boiselle, Vimy, Arras, Fromelles) and it'd be amazing to know of any family involvement, if any.
  25. My Grandad on my Mum's side (who later went on to be a Coldstream Guard) was too young to serve but my Great Grandad on my Mum's side was out in British Malaya. Need to find out more about the other side but I know my Great Grandad and Great Uncles all survived in Northern France during WW1.
